Sermons, Bible Studies, and Seminars by Ron Ricley
It’s very easy to be merciful to someone we see as a “sinner”, while demanding perfection from our brothers & sisters. Jesus uses words like “Restore” and “Bear” when telling us how to deal with one another. Scripture: Gal 6:1-5
Paul left Titus in Crete with specific instructions for establishing the church there. Those same instructions remain applicable today. Scripture: Titus 1:1-7
This nation is descending deeper into chaos and we’re beginning to realize that we’re not going to change the turmoil that’s in the world. The things about the world, things about our lives have to become second to Kingdom things. Yield to His voice. Say and do as He says. The throne is secure and we are blessed by His keeping and protecting power. Scripture: Jeremiah 1:1-10
Just like Elijah/Elisha, the Holy Spirit will take us through Gilgal, Bethel, Jericho and the Jordan as we grow in our walk with the Lord. Every step is necessary to make us into soldiers in God's army! Scripture: Romans 6:11-18, Eph 6:1-18
God makes promises in His Word or directly to us that our emotional man can easily reject if the promise doesn’t come to pass quickly enough to satisfy our carnal thinking. Our faith needs to be strong enough to hold to the promise even when the enemy tells us over and over that God won’t do what He said and our carnal thoughts tell us to fix the issue in they physical realm. Scripture: Heb 3:12-4:10, Exod 31:12, Matt […]
If we couldn't lose our salvation, why won't Satan leave us alone? It's his plan to stop us before we're finished. Christianity is a difficult choice, full of hardship and trials, but God will lead us through safely. Scripture: 2 Cor 11:12-12:5
Spreading the Gospel isn’t about us telling people. It’s about living a life of peace and righteousness in front of others so they seek what we have. In order to do that, we have to get our appetites under God’s dominion and learn to say “no”. We can’t do that in our own will, but through His Spirit living in us. Scripture: Isa 42:1-9, John 1:10-13
The Dispensation of the Gospel has been committed to us according to the Word. What better way to reveal Jesus to the world than to live like Him? It can’t be done in confrontation or self-righteousness, but as the Spirit leads in empathy, walking in ways that avoid offense and that draw men to the love He manifests to us and through us. Scripture: 1 Cor 11:1-19, 1 Cor 9:16-22
It had been 16 years from the end of the exile to Haggai. People returned with a desire to rebuild Jerusalem and the temple. They had the government and the priesthood, but didn’t have a prophet. They couldn’t build without a word from God and neither can we. We’re nothing without the Spirit of God indwelling us, leading us. Scripture: Acts 6:11-7:2, Haggai 2:1-7
In the beginning, “Let there be light” (Genesis). “In the beginning was the Word…” (John). The 3rd beginning was the Book of Acts, men doing things as a continuation of the work Jesus did, moving in His Spirit and authority to teach, heal, prophesy, cast out demons and manifest His everlasting life & love to the world. We’re in training – learning to crucify our flesh and move in His Spirit to accomplish His will. Scripture: Acts 2:29-33, 1 […]
Pastor Ron teaches that the truth revealed in the Word is not just an ideology, but it’s a reality we can stand on in our lives that will get us through anything we might encounter. Scripture: John 14:6-7, John 13:33-35, John 1:1-4, John 2:18-19, John 6:15-27
In our carnal thinking, God can be dethroned. The Holy Spirit indwells us, but we still need to grow up. We ignore what the Holy Spirit tells us to get rid of. We can stay carnally minded where we don’t receive the things of the Spirit. Take out the trash or it builds up! Pastor Ricley warns us that we can override what the Holy Ghost says and stay in infant in Christ. Scripture: 1 Cor 2:1-3:3, 1 Cor […]
We have received an invitation from God to the marriage supper. Jesus’ Bride will be arrayed in white linen, granted to her by God. We don’t want the wrong garment, we don’t want religion or to put our trust in anything in this hour except for Him. We’ve entered into a covenant relationship with God. He will do His part if we do ours – surrender to His will. Zeph 1:2-9, 2 Kings 23:1-14, Matt 22:1-14, Rev 19:1-18, Luke 17:20-37
God is a God of relationship – relationship with us and our relationships with each other. We’re to love as He loved. We were born to show the world empathy and sympathy that can only be learned by walking through difficult places as He did. Scripture: Matt 12:34-42, Ezek 24:15-27
The Sabbath is the only commandment God forced Israel to keep, it was that important to Him. In Hebrews we’re reminded that there “remains a Sabbath to the people of God.” We’ll rest in man or we’ll rest in God and we’re in training. Scripture: Gen 42:16-25, Ezek 36:16-22, 2 Chron 27:14-23, Heb 3:5-4:2
The world is full of questions re things. What we know is that He has a plan and it’s all going to turn out the way He wants. Increase in violence, selfishness, hatred has been prophesied in the Word & we see it coming to pass. We can have confidence the plan He has will come to pass. Jesus wasn’t going anywhere until the disciples had the divine revelation of who He was. Once He knew they knew He was […]
Pastor Ricley teaches from Hebrews 11 & 12 about the true church being living witnesses encompassed by a great cloud of witnesses and a victorious God. Scripture: Heb 11:31-12:11
Pastor Ricley teaches the difference between being governed by the knowledge of good and evil or the Word of God. We are the Temple, but we must have that temple in the right frame of mind. Scripture: Rom 7:17-25, Hebrews 5:7-14
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry… God talking about Jesus’ rejection in Jerusalem. A warning to be heeded in this hour when anger and resentment toward God is fashionable. If we’re not feeling tenderness towards Him, a desire to reach out and touch Him, it’s time to ask Him to help us bring our prayers to Him as kisses. Scripture: Psa 2:1-12, Song of Solomon 1:1-1-3, Matt 25:1, Psa 22:1, 18-21, Psa 48:1-14
If we don’t have landmarks we can lose our way and the devil can tell us we’re in a place of defeat we’ll never get out of. We need a reference point and our reference should always be the Word of God. Scripture: Gen 12:1-9, Exod 40:31-38
We’re in an hour of great controversy about God in the world but in the Spirit realm “without controversy great is the mystery of godliness. We will be the revelation of the mystery – God manifested in the flesh (02.19.20) Scripture: 1 Tim 3:14-16, Psa 51:1-19, Matt 13:11-17, Rom 16:24-27, 1 Cor 2:7-16, Rev 10:7
Pastor Ricley continues his study from 9/9/20 in Daniel 9 and discusses the 3 “untils” that must occur before the perfection of the church and the Word is made flesh again in Christ’s body of believers. Scripture: Luke 21:23-24, Gal 4:14, Gen 15:16, Rom 11:17-26, Jer 31:27-40, 2 John 1:7-11, 1 Cor 4:17-5:13, Lamentations 1:1-4
The Word of God will cover our mind just like an application of paint covers a wall. God intends for us to make application of what He says in our lives, our marriages, with our kids, in our communities. Scripture: 2 Peter 1:1-6, Matt 10:5-15
Pastor Ron was asked to explain the 70 weeks in Daniel, so he went through Daniel 9 in detail to show how it reveals Christ and The Word becoming flesh in us for the world to see. Scripture: Daniel 9
When we truly believe the Word and do what Jesus teaches, we become a witness for Him. The Word becomes flesh in us and we can move in the authority He moved in. We have this truth in an earthen vessel that needs to be broken so the glory can shine through. Scripture: 1 John 2:15-16, Mark 6:14-26
Pastor Ricley takes us through Scripture to show us that God provides a way for us to bring the flesh under dominion, a way to draw closer to Him, a way to walk & live in the Spirit, a way to obedience, a way to deeper faith, a way to do greater things that Jesus did. Scripture: Isa 58:1-14, Luke 13:6-17, Isa 43:16, Prov 30:19, Isa 8:16-9:12, Matt 17:14-21, Rom 10:13-19
COVID, fires, social unrest, political upheaval, hurricanes – it’s clear that God is judging this nation. We’re in a state of apostasy – people know God but refuse to honor Him as God and we’re seeing the result. Apostasy is changed when people decide to live righteously and believe God. We owe it to future generations to repent and return to Him. Scripture: Judges 2:6-10, Romans 1:14-25, Judges 17:6, Judges 18:1-6, Judges 21:24-25, Ruth 4:9-11
God brought the fire to separate the children of Israel from the armies of Israel at the Red Sea and He brought the wind to dry the land so His people could move forward in Him. God gives us the Holy Spirit to get between us and the darkness we’ve left behind. It’s to lead us on in such a relationship with Him that nothing separates us and His Word is carried to all generations in perfect truth. There is […]
Pastor Ricley explains the difference between the Bride of Christ and the guests at the wedding feast. People went into Egypt looking for bread, just like people today go into churches looking for Jesus. They will either come out leaning on His arm in depth of relationship or they will stay bound in religion. Scripture: Rev 17:1-6, Rev 18:4-10, Rev 18:20-21, Rev 19:1-18
The Church is in transition from the flesh realm to the spirit realm. The flesh is not equipped for the battle, our emotions have no place in it. Our strength, salvation and victory come from being armed in the Spirit. Scripture: 1 Peter 4:1-6, Luke 11:17-23, Rom 13:11-12, 2 Cor 6:1-18, Mal 3:13-1
Pastor Ricley takes us through Scripture to explain the difference between knowledge we gain through religious experience and revelation knowledge that comes from God Himself. Scripture: 1 Cor 2:1-15, John 3:3-11, Luke 18:18, 1 Cor 1:17-31, Jer 31:15, Matt 2:18
Apostles were scattered in Acts, and it sounds like Philip went to Samaria by choice. He went by Divine Appointment because the time was now ripe for them to receive and be saved. Peter & John were led by Spirit to go and lay hands on those people so they’d receive the Holy Spirit. What God did in the Apostles, He will do in us as we learn to exercise ourselves in Godliness. Scripture: Acts 9:31, Acts 8:4-40, Acts 9:20-27, […]
We are the offspring of God, why do we live at a level lower than that? We’re born of God but the church has a dysfunctional attitude about the flesh coming into righteousness. Christ is meant to be manifested through us in authority and power but we have to let out lives be altered by God. Acts 9:1-12, John 1:8-13, 1 John 3:2-16
The wind of the Holy Spirit is moving through the church and it will only take a spark to create a fire! We need to be in prayer about the gifts and fruit of the Spirit in us and the church. Scripture: Ezra 7:12-18, Ezra 8:21-28, 1 Cor 12:1-3, 1 Cor 12:31, 1 Cor 13:1-13, 1 Cor 14:26-33
We are learning quickly that we can’t depend on the flesh. We need the Voice, we need the Word moving in us. Faith has to become substance, not hope. Scripture: Isa 38:1-8, Isa 39:1-8, 2 Chron 32:7-8, 2 Chron 32:30-31, 2 Kings 20:4-5, John 6:4, John 7:25-35, Luke 13:24-25, Matt 25:5-10, Heb 10:5-38
God ordains how things operate in the physical realm and we have no right to mess with His design. It’s the same in the Spiritual realm – we have no right to mess with truth, His plan, His timing. We need Him at the very center of all we do, say, think in order to be effective for His Kingdom. Scripture: John 20:19-23, John 20:26-21:18
We want the territory we are to be the safest place for God to inhabit so we can take Him behind enemy lines and we’ll be part of a defense that won’t back up. The only obstacle we have to being those kinds of soldiers is our minds. God starts with the premise, ‘Lay down your will”, “present yourself as a living sacrifice” and He will transform our minds so we are prepared to take Him anywhere. Scripture: Rom 12:1-2, […]
Pastor Ricley teaches about the two anointed ministries talked about in the Book of Revelation. Scripture: Matt 5:1-5, Haggai 1:1-8, Zech 4:1-14, Rev 1:10-20, Rev 10:7-11, Rev 11:1-13
The church needs to learn to discern what’s going on in the Spirit realm, but that’s impossible to do with so much flesh in the way. The Five Fold Ministry doesn’t finish the work in us that God intends. Only Jesus can do that, so we must grow to see Him as He is. Scripture: John 4:1-29, Matt 16:5, Exod 13:20-22, Exod 14:19-20, Exod 40:33-38, Rom 5:15
Satan plays to the ego of humanity and works against the people of God. If we look at what he’s done in the past, we would know what to expect now. Our intellect will throw out the parts of the Bible we don’t like, but God expect His people to sort out the spiritual things. Our intellect won’t take us where God wants us to go. Scripture: Rom 9:8-13, Mal 1:1-4
We’re seeing an escalation of events. Where do you go for shelter when it looks like there is no where to go? Go to place of humility and seeking God’s face. Go to the promises of God. Scripture: Rom 9:1-4, Gal 4:3-5, Rom 8:15, Rom 8:1-6
The Book and a heart that’s right. God can entrust His Word to a heart that’s humble and in right relationship with Him. Scripture: 2 Chron 34
We have a tendency to discover an attribute or two of God’s and to define Him by only those attributes, making Him so much smaller than He is and missing the glorious balance that exists in all the attributes He has. Scripture: 1 Tim 3:16, Exod 20:5, Zech 8:2-8, Psa 89:14, Deut 3:23-26, Luke 9:28-31, Heb 12:29
Pastor Ricley answers questions about the Sabbath, the Feasts, the true ministries of God and how God wants us to use this pandemic to learn how to do serious battle in the Spirit realm. Scripture: Exod 23:10-13, Lev 25:18-23, Deut 31:6-13, Judges 9:1-20, Judges 3:1-2
Without these 3 things God’s glory departs: love, grace & truth, God’s anointed ministries. Scripture: 1 Sam 4:19-22, Rom 13:1-10 (EBR), John 19:15
Pastor Ricley goes through the Book of Ephesians explaining what it is to be a prisoner of Christ as Paul was and what a Christian looks like when they “put on the new man”. Scripture: Eph 1:3-12, Eph 2:1-20, Gen 2:3, Gen 9:5-6, Eph 3:16-21, Eph 4, Eph 5, Eph 6
Pastor Ricley talks about the Old and the New Covenant and how the devil consistently twists God’s Word to make God the problem. Under the New Covenant we have a living Savior who dwells inside of us to see us through the enemy’s attempts to deceive. Scripture: Isa 58:1-14, Gal 1:1-6, Matt 23:1-36, 2 Cor 11:1-4, Rev 12:;1-16, Jer 12:1-40
The Jews were unable to enter into God’s rest because of unbelief and lack of relationship because they saw the law as something to do, something to define them. The law was the beginning of God’s love letter. Keeping the law, in response to our deepening relationship with God, enables us to rest in Him. Scripture: Exod 31:13-14, Rom 1:15-19, Rom 9:30-10:16, Heb 3:6-19
There are those who see the law of the Old Testament as harsh and impossible, but on examination it was actually the foundation for relationship after relationship that was facilitated by the grace and truth that came through Jesus. We need all of it in order to be the church that God needs in this hour. Scripture: John 1:14-18, Exod 24:12-25:9, Gen 11:31, 1 Cor 3:9-17, Rom 8:7-9
God is bringing us to a place where we understand how important it is that we be about our Father’s business. The world won’t be impacted by us until we let go of it and allow our flesh to be consumed by the fire of God, leaving His power to work in us and through us. Scripture: Prov 10:25, Heb 11:9-10, 1 Kings 18:1-19, Isa 28:1-11
There was silence in the spirit realm before God created the Word and then spoke light into existence. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. In Him was life and our inheritance as children of God is that life which is the exact imprint of His nature. His life moving in us, directing us, shaping us from the inside out to be all He’s created us for. Scripture: John 1:1-4, Isa 45:;1-8, Ezra 1:1-6, 2 Chron 36:16-87, Heb […]
