In general I found there to be two common themes across most responses.1. To fill an internal gap - there is this idea that there is something missing within a persons identity that will be filled by learning te reo Māori.2. An external obligation - the idea that you are obliged to learn to either pay homage to an elder that has provided some form of support in life, or to learn for the sake of guiding someone from the younger generation (a child perhaps).
In this lesson we look at the difference between Content and Function words.Content words - words that have meaning (nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives)Function words - words that express relationship between wordsSpecifically we'll be focusing on how to use Function Words to build a framework to improve your comprehension of te reo Māori.Join the tribe > https://www.facebook.com/groups/455850661430763/
