When we started the 2 Ramblers we said that the road to March Madness started here. This was a bold statement at the time. Getting back to the tournament two seasons in a row for the first time in 50 years was not guaranteed. So even though we didn't like the outcome in Pittsburgh it was a great ride. And the tournament is better with Loyola in it. On this episode, Dobber shares his trip to out to March Madness, we give a few shout-outs, and try hard to make sense of the game. The road dawgs showed up big in Arch Madness. The "fourth seed"dominates. We get revenge on Bradley (66-50.) We destroy the imposter Valley Champs, NIU (66-43.) AND IN OUR VALLEY FINALE... we take care of Drizzy Drake on Sunday (64-58.) On this episode we add a 3rd Rambler, our brother-in-law, Uncle Jeffy. We give out of awards and break down the weekend. Story of the game...Valley Refs send NIU to the line for 42 free throw attempts. We turn over the ball. We miss the last shot in regulation for win. Some positive things to talk about including Ryan Schweiger's perfect game and the Lucas career-high. We also look forward to a Bradley rubber game on Friday at the Arch.

Loyola downs Evansville on Senior Night (82-31.) What can you say about this game? A lot if you're the Two Ramblers. In this episode we spread the love equally between Rambler fans and our 2021-22 squad. We include a new segment, ‘Blerred Lines. And a special award to our favorite player/podcaster, Big Willy Alcock who scored a career-best nine points in only six minutes of action. Campus Safety does have some questions however about a missing chair.  

The ESPN PBP guy summed up our second ISU win best; "Not an oil painting from Loyola tonight..." The road dawgs delivered a 59-50 win despite 17 turnovers. Great play from Super Seniors Tate Hall and Aher Uguak. Plus Tom Welch gets a JBs take out and delivery on the same play.

The 2 Ramblers look hard in the mirror after the home loss to Drake Bulldogs (83-76.) Drizzy led wire-to-wire despite Lucas Williamson's game that tied a career high. Gym rat and walk-on, Garret Sturtz, combined with Daddy's Boy, Tucker DeVries, for 39 pts, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 steals. The game also had 51 called fouls thanks to some terrible Valley Refs. Ouch! Well we talk about it anyway and go to Rambler Twitter for an instant game reaction. Also Dobber nicknames himself the "The Mayor of Ramblertown."

We're back breaking down another road dawg victory. We got out of Valpo with a 2-pt win (71-69) thanks to the hard work and hustle of Chris Knight. Five Ramblers in double figures plus tough defense made this a great team win. In this episode, we dig into the stats, give out some awards, and ID Coach Drew's shoes. Join us as we breakdown the Ramblers' wins over the SIU Salukis this week. Home on Tuesday (59-47) and on the road Thursday (44-39.) Game 1 was what we expected. Game 2 was unexpected. Take out Chris Knight's boxscore and the Ramblers shot 8-39 (20%). Wow!. But the road dawgs get the win. And we have a new Coach Drew shoe mystery from Tuesday night that has not been solved.

The 2 Ramblers double up on two very different games. Tate Hall got the start Tuesday against Roosevelt and dominated (88-49.) We also got a glimpse of the future with a delicious TY to St. Thomas dunk. On Friday the Ramblers headed to music city to face Scottie Pippen Jr. and the Vanderbilt Commodores. Braden Norris made the Southern Bells sitting court-side cry securing both the Matt "Hammer" Hawes player of the game and a share of the JB Alberto's Giant Play of the Game.

The 2 Ramblers discuss how the Rambler handed the Blue Demons the first loss of the year. It was of the most satisfying regular season wins in 30 years. Final score 68-64. By the way DePaul fans didn't do themselves any favors by trolling Sister Jean. The 2 Ramblers break down the 3-game "Battle 4 Atlantis" tournament over Thanksgiving including losing a heartbreaker to Michigan State (63-61), a tough loss to the baby-faced trees of Auburn (62-53), and a bounce-back win over Arizona State (77-53.) Plenty of love on this episode for Jacob Hutson who returns from the Bahamas as our "Man From Atlantis."

After going down 10 early in the first, Ramblers climb back into the game with smothering defense and some timely scoring from Schwieger, Tate, and Norris. Final score 80-63. Finally, we discuss the big move the Atlantic 10 conference next season.

Strong performances from Uguak and Norris plus excellent production from the rotation of Knight and Welch made the difference.
