In Episode 550 of State of the New York Knicks, I break down the Knicks' second Summer League game as they fall to 0-2 after a loss to the San Antonio Spurs. I share my biggest takeaways from another opportunity to evaluate the young roster, including why I'm still encouraged by Pacome Dadiet despite his shooting struggles because of his aggressive drives, improving defense, and confidence taking quality three-point looks. I also discuss Tyler Nickel's continued scoring, his high-volume perimeter shooting, smart off-ball movement, defensive competitiveness, and why I'd like to see him contribute more on the glass. I give my honest thoughts on Mohamed Diawara's rough outing, explain why it was a performance to forget, and finish by talking about Jack Kayil, who I thought looked like the team's most competent point guard, took care of the basketball, and earned the right to start the next Summer League game. As always, I give my unfiltered analysis of the Knicks' young talent and what stood out most from Game 2.Click the links below for:

This week Barrie Cassidy and Tony Barry examine the One Nation leader's podcast interview with far-right British activist Tommy Robinson and ask: will this interview cause fractures within the party and weaken her leadership? They also look at the rightwing party's position on international affairs and new polling in the lead-up to the Victorian election

Kings faced the Nets and Celtics in back to back games and it was 2 games of truly dreadful basketball for the Kings. The Kings struggled mightily with turnovers in the Nets game in which they gave up 27 of them, and in the Celtics game the Kings only managed to score a total of 4 points in the 1st quarter. It is just Summer League so there's only so much we can take away from these games, but it does raise the question of whether the issues could carry over into the main roster when it's time for real games in the regular season.Time will tell.Use code SKT15 on checkout to get 15% off from HYVDesigns on Etsy during checkout or use this link: https://www.etsy.com/shop/hyvdesigns/?etsrc=sdt&coupon=SKT15Intro Music by Blue Dot Sessions. https://www.sessions.blueIf you want to email us: kingtherapypod@gmail.com

Mile Svilar has officially turned the Stadio Olimpico into his personal fortress. Emerging from the youth ranks of Anderlecht and the high pressures of Benfica, the 26-year-old goalkeeper has locked down the number-one spot for AS Roma, asserting himself as one of the most terrifyingly clinical shot-stoppers in world football. In this episode, we unpack his sensational rise, his masterclass statistics, and the ongoing bureaucratic drama surrounding his international allegiance:Analyzing his incredible feat of winning the Serie A Best Goalkeeper award for two consecutive seasons, establishing unmatched consistency in one of Europe's most defensive leagues.Breaking down the jaw-dropping numbers—14 clean sheets and just 26 goals conceded across 32 appearances, meaning Roma surrenders a goal only once every 111 minutes.Reliving his legendary Europa League penalty shootout heroics, the catalyst that initially announced his elite status to the Giallorossi faithful.Dissecting the fascinating and labyrinthine FIFA eligibility battle between Belgium and Serbia, following his high-profile fallout with Serbian manager Dragan Stojković.Tune in as we trace the development of Roma's fluent, six-language-speaking sweeper-keeper under his contract through 2030, and debate whether he is currently the best pure shot-stopper on the planet. The Dedeaux Download Podcast returns with Shotgun Spratling and podcast co-host Kasey Kazliner breaking down the news that USC baseball is back in the NCAA tournament for the second straight year after the Trojans were selected as an at-large team in the College Station Regional in Texas. USC head coach Andy Stankiewicz joins the show to talk about the Trojans making it to back-to-back regionals for the first time since 2001-2002, his reaction to not being a regional host despite a No. 9 RPI as well as what the Trojans have to do better to take the next step and make it to a super regional after being in a regional final last year. Stankiewicz also discusses how the Trojan coaching staff will try to use its Texas connections to prepare scouting reports and mentions the possibility of potentially 'pitching off' and saving Big Ten Pitcher of the Year Mason Edwards for a potential 1-0 matchup with host Texas A&M. After a break, Shotgun and Kasey discuss the progression of the USC program making back-to-back regionals after only one in the previous two decades and take a look back at the action from the Big Ten Tournament where the Trojans went 1-1, losing a heartbreaking walk-off to rival UCLA in the tournament semifinals. They note three positives, including Augie Lopez's potential re-emergence and showing they are capable of beating the best teams in the nation. They also look at USC's struggles leaving men on base and some defensive struggles. The podcasting duo close out the show previewing each of the teams that will also be in the College Station Regional alongside USC with host Texas A&M, No. 3-seed Texas State and four-seed Lamar, breaking down the potential starting pitchers the Trojans could face in the first two matchups.
