Welcome to a new edition of The XLNT Show: Bad Boys, where it is just Danny and Parker talking uncensored. No filters, no script, and no holding back.In this episode, the guys dive into one of the most overlooked conversations in the EDM scene right now: major artists taking ideas and drops from smaller producers without giving proper credit. Using the recent situation between Fred again and Liny as the centerpiece, Danny and Parker break down how a viral edit blurred the lines between inspiration and attribution, and why it struck such a nerve in the producer community. They discuss:The timeline behind the Victory Lap edit and LYNY's original trackWhy credit matters for smaller artists trying to break throughWhether big artists have a responsibility to elevate new talentThe culture shift around IDs, edits, and promo on TikTokThe role of community building in EDMWhen borrowing becomes poachingWhether Fred again actually helped LYNY or overshadowed himThe conversation expands into a wider look at the industry: the lack of mentorship, the expectations placed on top artists, and whether the community holds different people to different standards based on their public persona.

Steel Toe decided he “won the war” after the viewers of This Little Piggy turned on me following an ill-advised interview with Aaron's friend from jail, Mikey. Of course Aaron couldn't help but over-play his hand and now he's bragging about basketball, calling the authorities to protect Mikey, and desperately begging for the goal. Stuttering John tried out an egg filter on his show. He's in an all-out war with Obnoxious John (OJ) over the sniping of his livestreams. Bill Burr is doing a terrible job of masking his insecurities and anger as he self-sabotages his once-popular podcast. Adam Busch has been following Opie closely and presents a bizarre story about Opie's grandmother that doesn't make any sense and only makes Opie look like a terrible person. Play No Games is a pop culture podcast that delivers genuine conversations, humor,& Reflection. _____________________________
The early November state and local elections held in the United State are part of a broader global wave of resistance to rising inequality and predatory government. From Tanzania and Madagascar to Bangladesh and Nepal, popular uprisings have triggered sudden changes in governments—or threatened to do so. In the United States, this week's results reflect popular and voter response to deepening inequities and the widely unpopular policies of a Trump administration serving as a delivery system for long-desired hard-right initiatives backed by billionaires, think tanks, assorted neofascists and a deeply diseducated voting base mobilized and deployed through fear and manipulation of racial division and cultural grievance. In the aftermath of political shifts—large and small—people engaged in struggle, whether through elections, popular mobilization, or both, understandably take “victory laps,” in the wake of what appear to be watershed moments. These celebrations are often followed by policymaking disappointments, followed by renewed calls to stay committed to the longer fight, typically through deploying the same tactics that produced the incremental victories. What lessons from the current U.S. electoral moment might guide our next steps?JOIN KNARRATIVE: https://www.knarrative.com it's the only way to get into #Knubia, where these classes areheld live with a live chat.To shop Go to:TheGlobalMajorityMore from us:Knarrative Twitter: https://twitter.com/knarrative_Knarrative Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/knarrative/In Class with Carr Twitter: https://twitter.com/inclasswithcarrSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
It looks like the longest shutdown in American history is on the verge of finally reaching its conclusion — and let's be honest, it's ending exactly how these things always end. The Democrats didn't get what they wanted, and now everyone's pretending this was the plan all along.Politics Politics Politics is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.Let's start with the facts. Between ten and twelve Democratic senators are reportedly on board to end the shutdown with a deal that's functionally the same as what was on the table from the beginning. That means a continuing resolution, the same one Republicans proposed, just tweaked to extend funding until January 30. The only extra carrot for Democrats is a promised vote on ACA subsidies in December. Not an actual extension — just a vote. And unless something big shifts, that vote won't mean much in the House. It's a pretty dismal reward for shutting down the government.Meanwhile, we learned that some actual work happened behind the scenes. Three of the appropriations bills needed to fund the government were worked out and included in the agreement. There are a few sweeteners too — a couple tweaks on SNAP, and a guarantee to hire back people fired during the shutdown. That's it. That's the list. Democrats came out strong on Friday saying they wanted a year-long ACA extension tied directly to reopening the government. Republicans said no. And then, bam — Democrats packed it up within 48 hours. If you're a Democrat looking at this thinking “we should've kept fighting,” well, that's a rough sell. Are you really telling me the smart move was to drive air travel into the ground before Thanksgiving to make a point you were never going to win? There's just no upside. Shutdowns don't work. They never do. Republicans have learned this over and over. You can scream about messaging all you want. You can say you're winning, but you're not. The polling never matters. You never get what you want. And now, within the Democratic Party, there's going to be some real reflection — or at least there should be. Maybe not about whether the shutdown was worth it, because the answer is clear. But about why they believed it would go differently this time. I'll tell you what the answer isn't: good strategy. It's the same outcome every time. You hold out, you get tired, and you walk away with the thing that was already waiting for you on day one.Chapters00:00 - Intro01:22 - Shutdown07:32 - Economy16:54 - Elections29:55 - Wrap-up This is a public episode. Mary welcomes first time guest to the podcast Pastor/Dr. Richard Schmidt to discuss current events. Richard has been an avid student of the Word of God for over 45 years. After giving his life to Christ during a Chicago revival meeting, he immediately immersed himself into evangelism and the study of Scripture, graduating with both a B.S. and M.A. in Pastoral Theology/Christian Education. Early in his ministry, Rich traveled with Evangelist Joe Boyd and preached in various churches and venues, including Chicago's Pacific Garden Mission. Upon college graduation and ordination, Rich and his wife, Valori, moved to Milwaukee, WI to church plant. After the church plant was successfully merged with another, Rich joined the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office to support his young family, while simultaneously serving as an Assistant Pastor. He is currently the pastor of Union Grove Baptist Church just south of Milwaukee and an in-demand speaker. Today we chat about the rampant lawlessness in our nation and how we got here politically and prophetically. We also look at the current peace initiative in Israel, and what are we to expect when there's a victory lap going on, but we all know that Israel's enemies haven't truly had a change of heart. We talk about AI, and its troubling encroachment into Europe. China we expect to be a police state, but why are other nations looking so similar? A full hour with a very sharp brother in Christ.
