It is always time for men to get down right serious about living and serving the Lord if they want to live up to the image that God created for his kingdom. Circumstances can strike at any given moment and our day can turn from beautiful white clouds to dark clouds. What are we to do? Who becomes the main source of comfort? Generally, people go to sources that are not long-lasting, fulfilling or fruitful from the eyes of the Lord. The best medicine and therapy that we can receive as the ultimate foundation for our spiritual lives must come from Christ. This can be a hard concept and reality for people, but it is the only way to find salvation and attach to the peace that we need for our souls. We may not see God in our lives all the time, but He is very much needed and necessary for salvation. 1 John 4:16, And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. A direct and potent message on the Creator being the head of our marriages. Without God, many marriages will fail and if some survive, they don't have the spiritual connection that God established for this relationship to find salvation together as one unit on earth and two souls in heaven. Psalm 18:31, For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God? In today's society, people are going church to church in search of worldly matters and not to strengthen their relationship with Christ. Life can be fulfilling but also draining when sin is dragging someone down. How many relationships, friendships, coworkers and marriages have been affected? The number is vast. God desires for your soul to be lighted on his path for salvation. So many lives are being strained on a daily basis through the inner workings of the devil. It is time for you to contemplate seriously about everlasting life. A place where you will be in the presence of the Lord and protected from all dangers of sin. There are people that can be very detailed about the order of cleanliness. Many years ago, a lady from the area of where I live went on a famous talk show about how dirty a house can be when the owner was for sure their homes were the neatest and cleanest. From having others go through their homes, they were greatly surprised at the dirt and in some cases, filth was found as they watched in awe. Every square inch of a home is usually never cleaned whether inside or outside. We clean certain areas, ignore others and don't see the hidden spots of dirt. Sin operates in a similar manner when someone focuses on “big sins” and not have awareness on the “little sins” creating a constant separation between their souls and God. The Lord's plan is for us to bring all sins to him through repentance and live in obedience from the faith that only comes through him. There are moments in time when someone can make some fundamental changes in their lives from the death of others. These changes don't always yield a true emphasis on living for the Lord. Although, they may have some focus about God and his promises on salvation. The Psalmist writes in 121:7-8, The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. It will be unfortunate that many souls won't truly know until they die on what God means about his judgment. Don't wait until it's too late to change the course of your life. Souls are walking away from the true light of salvation. Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15:21, For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. Scars can come in many forms from physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. A person knows how scars affect their lives and several lose control on what is important regarding everlasting life. Sins have deadly consequences and they are impossible to overcome without the Lord. The temptations are powerful and too difficult to let go. Many get taken through the undercurrent and never regain consciousness. God desires for your soul to find light and to be fully alert for his kingdom. Do you have scars that are not healing? John conveys a strong message in 1 John 2:2, He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. Every human being will face the consequences of sin and if someone is not centered in Christ, their scars of sin will not heal. They can't be prepared for everlasting life and it will be a shame on the Day of Judgment. The time is unfortunately, right now while God allows you to breathe. I haven't researched or googled how many miles a person gets lost over the course of a lifetime. I suspect it is a few to many thousands of miles. There are times that we get lost in direction from electronic devices, and there are also times we get lost by our instincts on deciding a path. God is so loving that he gives us a clear journey of finding salvation and we don't have to worry about getting lost if he is always our guide. Beauty is something that we like to see. We find pleasure to experience. We know when we are in the presence of beauty. People are connecting the world with their version of what is pleasing, but not seeing the beauty of the Lord's kingdom. How important is everlasting life? It should be very important to those who don't want to experience a permanent separation from God. Let's look at God's beauty when the world is gone from Revelation, Chapter 21. The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass. This beauty must make all the difference for eternity. A number of years ago, I received a phone call while in church services that one of the maintenance men died. He was found by another maintenance man that was quite younger and was trying to wake him up to return to his shift from break. Today, many are dying on their clock and not prepared for God‘s plan of salvation. He wants us ready to receive his life that is for greater than the world. The time that we look forward to on earth, don't compare to what the Lord has waiting for you when your journey is the way of Christ. People have a way to express themselves and to show others who they want them to know. They forget about the realities what God knows about them and focus more on the false life that they are presenting to the world. The life, outside the Gospel, is like fairytale life in the means of finding salvation. People are choosing this path without much thought, then hope to find everlasting life. God's word made it very clear that the truth is only found in him and if you believe something other than Christ is Lord and Savior, and God is The Father, you can't find heaven. Someone would be living a life that wouldn't exists in God's kingdom. The devil carries a large footprint throughout the world with his schemes and most people are not thinking clearly on how effective that he can be in their lives. Life brings about fundamental challenges in every aspect. People seek to put their foot on full speed to enjoy and find pleasure in all things. Then, death strikes on individuals that we love, care about, read on and think throughout our lives. The price tag is enormous when God is not part of us. Not a surface level of thought, but deeply entrenched in our souls. We understand the value of something from a price tag; however, we lack wisdom and knowledge through the Lord on his final judgement. Deer hunting is an avid sport for many people and there are times when individuals from all walks of life, experience seeing deer at night. Several proceed to take caution with bright lights watching for more than one deer, and then there are the moments when deer will stare at the light and continue to run. God shines his radiant light all day and night providing every soul the opportunity to stop and not run. Face the Lord and trust him through faith that he will protect you. He has the authority and power to direct your life for salvation. Avid readers exist throughout the world on books from various levels. They can present in-depth knowledge on subject matters and be well-equipped to share their experiences with others. On the other hand, the Bible is the guiding force for everlasting life, while most people are captured by the world's attention. God displayed his love through creation and providing his Son as the only planned example for us to see him in heaven. The Bible has to be in hand, mind, heart and soul to allow God to work in your life. In all times, the Bible must be picked up, opened and read with actions of faith demonstrated for the Lord to know your obedience. The Price is Going Down It seems coincidental that the price of gasoline is going down while everything is fairly the same. Two foreign countries are still in war and our nation is not producing more oil. What changed? There will be many different answers depending upon the person you ask, listen to or read about. The more important question, is the value of your soul going down or up? This is for each person to consider when there are two choices. The one that is up it's better than the one that is down for eternity. In order for someone to be in the right relationship with God, they have to increase their value through faith and living righteously by the Lord's word. Baptism in Reverse Many people have heard about baptism, but several don't understand what it truly means from a biblical perspective. It is more than just a sprinkling or a view of water. It is symbolic with Christ's death, burial and being raised in the newness of life from his resurrection. His creation of man and woman should see the in-depth importance when Christ himself was baptized and the consistent message on repenting before getting baptized and coming out of the water (immersion). There are numerous of people that are not going through the proper process of not repenting and not getting correctly baptized. They are going in reverse of God's plan to be fully adopted as one of his children that has the opportunity for everlasting life. The first car that I purchased, I was 14 years old for $350. I knew after purchasing, I would have to re-build the engine. It was a great experience working with the mechanic on purchasing parts and assisting with the process. Our world seems to think that they can change a person's physical make up and make them better, but also compete against what God has already created between a man and woman. While many may cheer on the fact of these changes, they don't help either gender in general. God wants every soul to be built for the kingdom not change the flesh which doesn't last forever. There's usually one temperature that someone likes the most. We are okay with ranges but when it's our homes, the degree can only have one temperature per thermostat. We want to feel comfortable and rest easy. God speaks about in His word on being with him and apart for eternity. If someone becomes separated, the feeling is never pleasant from the one temperature that is very uncomfortable.
