Hello Listeners! In this episode, we had the opportunity to have a conversation with RasyiqaBorn and raised in South Jakarta, Rasyiqa is a dreamer who loved to imagine, with a TV remote in hand and the sound of music from her brother's room always echoing through the walls. As a child, she often dreamed of a double life like Hannah Montana: a regular girl by day, a star on stage by night. After college, that dream seemed to fade away. Working behind the scenes in the music industry felt like the more practical path. But a heartbreak in her mid-20s opened up a new direction. Writing songs became her way of processing her emotions. In September 2021, she decided to release her debut single, “Reckless,” a birthday gift to herself on her 25th.From there, Rasyiqa began building a catalog of songs that felt like pages from her diary, each reflecting an emotional phase of her life. Singles like “Get Up! (Get Out!)” and “I've Had Enough” expressed insecurity and angst, captured through rom-com/sitcom-style music videos. Meanwhile, “2:15 (Steph's Song)” and “A Song for Someone Else” offered a more mellow and contemplative "sad girl" vibe.In late 2023, Rasyiqa released “Waiting on Fireworks,” a reflective track that served as an emotional bridge from hurt to hope. Early in 2024, “Two Shades of Blue” was released, signaling a soft, hopeful portrayal of falling in love. In 2025, she released “Just Like That,” her first collaboration with Dennis Ferdinand, introducing a more optimistic tone that mirrors the current chapter in her life. All of these experiences are captured in 'Reckless', her debut album set for release in August 2025. This album ties together the threads from her previously released tracks, alongside new material that represents the journey of growing up — from heartbreak to falling in love again, from anger to reconciliation. For Rasyiqa, music is a way to make sense of everything — from her heartbreak experience, the process of maturing, and the quiet spaces in between. She writes for the late bloomers, the overthinkers, and anyone who needs a song that understands what it feels like.Listen full episode on Bingkai Suara with Lusiana and don't forget to follow our podcast on any podcast platforms, our Instagram Bingkai Karya, and stay updated with our recent news on www.bingkaikarya.com

White-breasted nuthatches weigh more than twice their little cousins, the red-breasted nuthatches. More handsome than cute, their black head grading into a gray back and mostly white belly is quite natty. Beyond size and color, these two cousins have some interesting similarities and differences. They both eat mostly insects in the summer, and feed insects to their chicks as well. Both find those bugs by clinging to tree bark with their super strong feet and long claws, and moving headfirst down the trunk. Their short tail stays out of the way. This behavior is thought to give nuthatches a different perspective than the woodpeckers and brown creepers who they often feed near.

Amazon Book Dewey B. Reynolds is an author, screenwriter, short filmmaker, and computer expert. Dewey spent several years researching the criminal background of his interracial parents, Gordon Reynolds and Alla Mae Briggs. Their reign of vice activities occurred mostly throughout the 1960s. Dewey became a ward of the state of Missouri as a result of his parents being hardened criminals on the run from the law. Information obtained from police reports and criminal rap sheets would prompt him to write the true-crime tale of their lives, a book entitled: Two Shades of Vice: Based on the true story of an interracial couple's life together in crime. He is also the author of a thriller and fantasy book. Dewey currently resides in his hometown of Kansas City, Missouri and he continues to write other books.

The nonfiction book by author Dewey B. Reynolds takes the reading audience into the dramatically dark world of his interracial parents who challenged law enforcement, the Ku Klux Klan, rival gangsters, and street hustlers.   KANSAS CITY, Mo, - Two Shades of Vice: Based on the true story of an interracial couple’s life together in crime, is the tell-all true story by author Dewey B. Reynolds. Dewey was inspired to write Two Shades of Vice after doing in-depth research into his parent’s criminal lifestyle. Based upon police reports, criminal rap sheets, and eyewitness accounts from those who knew his Irish father and African American mother best, he became inspired to write the story which tells how this interracial couple played a high stakes game of living dangerously on the edge. They would eventually suffer from the vestiges of social isolation after expressing their undying love for one another. Click here to learn more: http://www.deweyreynoldsbooks.com.   “Having ended up in foster care at the infant age of six months, I became very eager to find information which told the real truth about how and why me and my siblings became wards of the state,” Dewey would often tell family members and friends. “And with the unveiling of the truth, I learned that it was my mother and father’s ongoing criminal lifestyle which put us there.”   Several chapters of Kansas City, Missouri history are brought to the forefront, which details facts about how mixed-race couples in the 1960s were unlawful under the anti-miscegenation laws. Has America become far more tolerant of interracial couples? Are there still any social stigmas left which place relevant emphasis on the mixing of the white and black races? Find out in the new nonfiction book which brings forth a story never told before.

You've probably noticed how work always seems to expand to fill the time given to complete it. But did you know there's a term for that? Also this week, the New England exclamation So don't I!, gray vs. gray, stories in a building, being squiffy, having chops, getting involved in pull-hauls, nubby Pennsylvanians, and a modern Greek idiom about hiccups and burning ears. FULL DETAILSIf you're feeling squiffy, it means you're drunk, especially in 19th century British slang. If someone has a golden gut, on the other hand, it means they have good business acumen. If someone is being nibby or nubby, they're nosy. This Western Pennsylvania http://www.popularpittsburgh.com/pittsburgh-info/pittsburgh-culture/pittsburghese.aspx term goes back to the old Scottish term nib or neb, meaning nose.  What does it mean to have chops? In the 1500s, chops was a slang term for the face or lips, but it carried into African-American jazz culture to mean that a brass or wind player had good embouchure. The idea is reflected in the old jazz musician's saying, "If you ain't got the chops for the dots, ain't nothing' happening." Having chops eventually came to mean having talent in other disciplines as well. The New England phrase So don't I http://www.bu.edu/mfeldman/Boston/wicked.html, meaning you agree, is so embedded in the culture that it's now part of the regional stereotype. Linguist Laurence Horn http://books.google.com/books?id=7ESeXUD10c0C&printsec=frontcover&dq=laurence+horn&hl=en&sa=X&ei=vMG_T5HKLuTw6AGqvcGbCg&ved=0CFkQ6AEwBA#v=onepage&q=so%20don't%20I&f=false work has discussed the phenomenon, as have we http://www.waywordradio.org/love-joe-floggers-so-dont-i/ ! Our Quiz Guy John Chaneski has an improvement on the hoary puzzle about words ending in gry http://www.snopes.com/language/puzzlers/gry.asp. For example, if someone has posted to Tumblr in a while, they might be feeling a bit bloggry. If you're in the mood to do some karaoke, you might be described as singry. Why are floors of buildings called stories? One theory suggests that an Latin architectural term historia once referred to the stained-glass windows or the ornate statues around the edifice. But the etymology is unclear at best.If someone's been talking about you in English, then metaphorically speaking, your ears must have been burning. If they were talking about you in Modern Greek, it's said that you must have been hiccuping. If you're blowing the soot out, you might literally be clearing the soot out of a flue. By extension, it's a term that means "relieving stress." The term pull-haul, meaning "a verbal conflict," is heard in New England, particularly Maine http://dare.news.wisc.edu/state-by-state/maine/. A Way with Words — language, linguistics, and callers from all over
