Is fruit juice just as bad as added sugar? What are the healthiest vegetables to eat for longevity? Is dairy helpful or harmful for our health? These are just some of the questions myself and Professor Tim Spector discuss on today's podcast. It's the third time we've sat down on the podcast and I'm sure it won't be the last. The book will help you make better food choices every day, whatever your starting point. We even made some of the pecan, chocolate cookies in the Doctor's Kitchen Studio which were incredibly delicious. Made with flax egg, ground almonds and a seed mix, I was genuinely surprised at how tasty they were. The ladies of The Spoon Fed Podcast discuss if they would let their husband do love scenes in the Movie Industry.
Today's show opens with me demanding mass firings, or at least weeks long suspensions without pay, of every so-called “journalist” who did nothing more than run with Hamas created propaganda and regurgitated it to their audiences as if it was vetted fact. The Legacy/mainstream media should leave you no doubt they have long since left ethics and integrity behind. They literally are now responsible for uprisings around many of our embassies. Whatever resulting carnage is all because they wanted so desperately to believe Israel intentionally targeted and destroyed a hospital in the Gaza Strip. Our two anti-American, anti-Semite Congresswomen, Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Illhan Omar (D-MN) jumped at the chance to spew their retched bile at Israel, the West, President Biden and America. While I have no degree or “training” in journalism, it took me less than 30 minutes to realize the truth and comment on my X account. If I could do that, what is there excuse? They all need to be fired and we need to remember who they were and make this millstone the wear around their necks for the rest of time. The truth is a single Hamas rocket out of a barrage of them launched simultaneously Israel, malfunctioned and crashed into the parking lot of that hospital. Undoubtedly, there would have been some loss of life. However, the building are all intact. There is no rubble. There are no bodies being pulled from debris. In short, Hamas lied, knowing the sycophants in today's Leftist media would be all too happy to parrot the lies. Onto some positive news. The Cancer doctor we discussed yesterday from Emory Winship Cancer Institute has been suspended pending an investigation. While Dr. Abeer N. AbouYabis feigns ignorance to what she could have done to be suspended, I am glad we put the spotlight on a hate-filled, anti-Semite like her. Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-AR) is the first governor in the United States to put an end to the Chinese Communist Party buying up American land. This is a great step in the right direction in pushing back against them. Michael Shellenberger announced the creation of a new group dedicated to freedom of speech and the demand that all governments around the world dismantle their Censorship Industrial Complex. Their release is called the Westminster Declaration. MP of Canada Pierre Poilievre provided a master class in how to deal with Leftist, agenda-driven members of the press. He dismantles the poor fool in less than 90 seconds. The reporter is reduced to asking one simple question to which Pierre is more than happy to answer – all while biting into an apple. Comedy gold!! Finally, we close the show with another installment of Deep Thoughts with Vice President Kamala Harris. In this one, she reminds us how much she loves Venn Diagrams. Take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. You can find me on Facebook, X, Instagram, GETTR and TRUTH Social by searching for The Alan Sanders Show. Thanks to some astonishing breakthroughs in medical technology, scientists are at the threshold of prescribing food to sidestep disease, predict diagnostic outcomes, promote longevity, and enhance well-being on a highly individuated basis. The era of personalized medicine is upon us. And at the tip of this revolution is today's guest, Dr. Tim Spector. Arguably the world's leading authority on the cutting edge of microbiome research, Tim is a globally-renowned epidemiologist and geneticist. He is also the bestselling author of several books, including The Diet Myth, Spoon Fed, and his latest work, Food for Life, an in-depth, scientific breakdown of what and when to eat, and ways we can all improve our own personal nutrition. This is a fascinating conversation that will leave you reframing the importance diet plays in your life—and what the near future holds for better health for all. If you want to improve your overall health and wellbeing, this episode of Virgin Active Minds with Dr Tim Spector is a must-listen. Learn from the leading genetic epidemiology professor at King's College London about why gut health is so important and how you can cultivate a healthy gut microbiome for optimal physical, mental, and immune health. In this conversation, you'll learn how the gut microbiome is actually a community of hundreds of trillions of microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites, that all work together like a jungle or a garden. You'll also discover how gut microbes produce chemicals that regulate the immune system, metabolism, and brain. Dr Spector emphasizes the importance of having a healthy gut microbiome with diverse species for optimal physical, mental, and immune health. You'll walk away from this conversation with actionable tips and practices you can implement today for a healthier gut - and mind! Our favourite quotable moments: "We know that we've evolved with gut microbes for millions of years for a reason, and that is they are absolutely essential for our health." - Dr Tim Spector "The community of gut microbes, which we call the microbiome, is really this collection of hundreds of trillions of microorganisms, which are bacteria. viruses, fungi, parasites, that all work together in a little community; a bit like a jungle or a garden." - Dr Tim Spector "The more healthy our gut microbes are, the healthier our body is." - Dr Tim Spector "The healthiest guts are those that have the most diverse species." - Dr Tim Spector "Diet still trumps exercise and fitness in terms of getting your gut health right. It's the number one factor." - Dr Tim Spector "Bloating, constipation, they're not just problems of single foods; it's a whole problem of you're not feeding your gut microbes properly. Most people haven't yet made that link and are still just trying to cut out foods and treat it like it's an allergy and not look at a holistic picture of their health." - Dr Tim Spector "To try and get more variety in your diet, you have to not be in a food desert." - Dr Tim Spector Resources: Instagram - @tim.spector Twitter - @timspector Food for Life Book Join Zoe About Dr Tim Spector: Tim Spector is a professor of genetic epidemiology at King's College London and honorary consultant physician at Guy's and St Thomas' hospitals. This week on the Wildly Uninteresting Podcast Episode #142:- Ian having a dream about being a merman, or being with a merman, or being around a merman? - Life is so fleeting and the reason that people don't notice it until it is too late is because of the facade that instagram and other social media platforms build around life being endlessly fun.- You can choose to live appropriately and either walk the beaten path or carve out your own path.- Fake Gurus need you to believe that the law of attraction is really a thing so that you buy into their "no work" plan.- People who say that they don't like the idea of working 5 days for 2 days uninterrupted...... But they waste the 16hrs a day they get on all 5 of those work days and hardly do anything of value on the weekend.- Today's novice is tomorrows master!- You have to start doing the thing that you want to do, if you never start you will never ever accomplish anything.- Should you discipline your kids or only address them with love?- The world around us is far too large for normal human beings to comprehend.- Part 1 of the Free Will argument.https://www.facebook.com/wildlyuninterestingpodcasthttps://www.instagram.com/wildlyuninterestingpodcasthttps://twitter.com/WildlyPodcast

Guest: Reverend Tim Moody, D.Min. The reason for being “Christian,” and the way to create our best life, is to be a reflection of Jesus' love. Therefore, I believe we have the responsibility to examine whether our beliefs, which motivate our behavior, align with the loving, compassionate, and inclusive heart of Jesus, or whether we are following passed-down judgmental, fear-based, and controlling religious dogma that increases divisive and abusive social interactions. In this episode, Rev. Tim Moody returns to: Discuss how our hesitancy to question what we are taught about the Bible and Christianity keeps us like children who never mature into our personal spiritual potential; Examine how Jesus confronted those who were abusive, greedy, and power-hungry; Champion the importance of introspection to determine if our behavior, and that of our fellow human beings, aligns with walking in the footsteps of Jesus; and Consider how Jesus did not fear the unknown, and why we must not, either.
