Hip-hop has long proven itself to be the only genre that has truly transcended cultures across its 50+ year history. Yet, despite this powerful legacy, the culture often overlooks its pioneers. While other genres honor their trailblazers, hip-hop has a troubling tendency to dismiss its elder statesmen—shaming veteran artists for continuing to create or ignoring their new music altogether. Radio rarely supports them, and media coverage is sparse. This mix is a tribute to both the old and the new, but most importantly, it's a celebration of the legends who are still making incredible music today. Many of these seasoned artists continue to out-rap younger generations while pushing the culture forward. So enjoy this journey—what I call Seasoned & Streetwise... Dallas Goedert's Grown Man touchdown, Zack Baun's interception, Darius Slay's interception, Oren Burks' forced fumble, Jalen Hurts' touchdown pass to Jahan Dotson, Saquon Barkley's long runs. Those were the big plays for the Eagles in their wildcard game against the Packers. But it was a squeaker, with a missed Jake Elliott extra point and a mostly uninspiring offense, with A.J. Brown quiet and Jalen Hurts uneven.Join our full PHLY Eagles crew to discuss it all, with Super Bowl champion Vinny Curry, Fran Duffy, Jamie Lynch and Bo Wulf, before Zach Berman joins live from the LINC.
Last night, the Philadelphia Eagles triumphed over the Green Bay Packers in the NFL playoffs' Wild Card round. Vic Fangio and the Eagles' defense were well-prepared to face Jordan Love and the Packers' offensive lineup. Right from the initial kickoff, the Eagles showcased their physical play throughout the contest. All-Pro first-teamers Zack Baun, Darius Slay, and Quinyon Mitchell each recorded interceptions. Nolan Smith excelled with two sacks on Love. However, the Eagles' offense appeared sluggish and encountered difficulties in advancing the ball at times. Could Jalen Hurts' performance have been impacted by three weeks without playing? The Eagles now await the victor of the Vikings vs. Rams, who are set to visit the Linc this weekend for the Divisional round matchup.

21 year-old Cody Lot was described by others as dysfunctional and disturbed. Cody at this point had dropped out of school, got fired from all his jobs and spent most of his day doing hard drugs with his friends. At 20, Cody was diagnosed with a psychoactive disorder and around this time is when he set his eyes on 13- year old Lauren Landavazo. Lauren would walk past Cody's home everyday, her usual route home from school and from the time Cody saw her, he fell in love. He began learning Lauren routine, when she walked home from school, what school she went to, her friends, her family, her social media and interests. Cody had been stalking Lauren for a year with no contact and kept his obsession a secret but felt that she belonged to him. But all this love would turn into rage when one day Cody sees Lauren walking home from school holding hands with another teenage boy. Cody then started dedicating all his time to “work and talk with the devil” to create a plan on how to kill Lauren and “Save her”. Cody believed if he murdered Lauren he would be able to save her from the evil in this world if she were to grow up and felt Lauren was also his sacrifice to the devil, and he would be given an amazing afterlife in return.
