We think you will come away from this teaching with the resources to change your situation and ultimately, your health! Show notes: Vitamin D is more of a hormone than a vitamin. Our bodies can make it from the sun and we get some from food (but not enough). Here is the short list of how important it is for you: · Strengthens Immune System · Fights Depression · Aids in Bone Health · Decreases Risk of Colon, Breast and Prostate Cancers (& probably more, but being studied). Decreases cancer cell growth. · Reduces Inflammation · Helps with Weight Loss Don't go by conventional standards labs that state you are fine about 30 ng/dl. NO! You are severely deficient. Strive to increase your blood levels to at least 60 ng/dl to benefit from all the benefits above. Please DON'T avoid the sun. Get sun every day, but also consider supplementation. You can get more info about Vitamin D and a lot more beneficial health information on my YouTube channel; Lindy Ford Nutrition &Wellness: https://www.youtube.com/@LindyFordNutritionWellness For even more nutrition and health information, please follow me on all my socials: F A C E B O O K: https://www.facebook.com/lindywellness/ I N S T A G R A M: lindyfordwellness_rd X (TWITTER): https://x.com/lindywellness LINKEDIN: https://www.linkedin.com/in/lindy-ford-rd-ldn-9751a73a/
