Since getting hired by Michigan in 2015, Jim Harbaugh as the Head Coach of the Wolverines has compiled a record of 74-25 over his eight seasons with the program. Despite Jim Harbaugh's success, some College Football fans feel he's overrated, and think he should've already led the Michigan Football program to a National Championship. JT Sports explains why Jim Harbaugh isn't overrated. Florida Gators fans were heavily, critical of Anthony Richardson's performance last season and felt he was holding back the Florida offense. After watching the Gators' spring game, however, JT Sports believes that Florida Football is in trouble with their current quarterback situation not being up to par with Graham Mertz and Jack Miller competing for the starting QB job. After going 8-5 year one under Head Coach Joey McGuire there is a lot of optimism surrounding Texas Tech football going into the upcoming season. The Red Raiders have the 4th best odds to win the Big 12 and return 75% of their offensive production from last season. Could Texas Tech football be primed for a breakthrough year in 2023 year two under Joey McGuire? --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jtsports/support

In case you missed it, on Monday, PFF analyst Max Chadwick joined the show and made the bold prediction that Michigan football will win the national championship in 2023. Yet, most national media doesn't even expect Michigan football to win the Big Ten. We discuss the disconnect, why that is, and why some narratives (but not all) are very short-sighted. Now former Michigan big man Hunter Dickinson appeared on a podcast ahead of his decision and didn't really say much. Of course, we now know that Dickinson will play at Kansas next year, but at the time of this episode, we talked about his impact at Michigan, what he might do at a new school and what his overall legacy is as a Wolverine. We also touch on the rest of U-M's roster a bit now that Dickinson is now gone. On the gridiron, things are humming a long as well as they have under Jim Harbaugh. Michigan is just one of two teams in the entire Big Ten with ZERO questions marks at quarterback. With that in mind, it's easy to understand why U-M is going to be the favorite in the Big Ten after winning two titles in a row. Michigan has even moved into the No. 2 spot of ESPN's power rankings behind only Georgia. All in all, Harbaugh has things rolling and he shows no signs of slowing down.

Jim Harbaugh has things absolutely humming right now, despite a few recent losses via the transfer portal. On the basketball side of things, the portal is still a factor as well. Both programs have benefitted from the portal, but recently we've seen players from both sports decide to look around a bit. Harbaugh has been killing it with the transfer portal, and he's doing the same thing on the recruiting trail as of late. Right now, per 247 Sports, Michigan has the No. 1 overall recruiting class in the country, headlined by five-star quarterback Jadyn Davis and recent addition, four-star tight end Brady Prieskorn. Across the class, Michigan is adding talent while filling just about every position on the field.
With the two pledges in 2024 coming on Tuesday, Michigan football vaulted up to the No. 1 spot in recruiting team rankings on 247Sports. Will the Wolverines be able to retain the top spot? We do an exercise, using who we think will join the class and comparing how that would rank in other recent years. Then, we play hi-lo with where the outgoing Michigan football players will go in the upcoming NFL draft. Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors! It's been a busy 24 hours for the Michigan football team. First, two more outgoing transfers, both somewhat surprising, with safety RJ Moten and linebacker Nikhai Hill-Green both leaving the program. Also, in-state four-star, elite tight end Brady Prieskorn committed to the team on Tuesday. What that means for recruiting. Then, where we agree and where we differ with the USA TODAY Sports Big Ten power rankings. Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors! Built Bar Built Bar is a protein bar that tastes like a candy bar.
