WWE SmackDown 12/30/22 review with JDfromNY. WWE SmackDown review, results, highlights, and livestream post show for Friday, December 30th, 2022 with JDfromNY. Charlotte Flair returns and puts the final nail in the coffin of the SmackDown Women's Division by winning back the SmackDown Women's Title after being away for 7 months. John Cena returns to team with Kevin Owens against Sami Zayn, and Roman Reigns in what WWE hyped up to be the biggest tag team match of 2022, and it was a complete underwhelming letdown. Ronda Rousey (before losing to Charlotte) defended the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship against Raquel Rodriguez, and Uncle Howdy attacks Bray Wyatt in a very weird twist to the Bray Wyatt, LA Knight saga. In some locales, the period between Christmas and the New Year is known as the Wild Nights, where mischief reigns in the darkest days of the northern hemisphere. We're digging into this theme for our last show of 2022, in a chat with photographer and producer of this very podcast, Jill Waterman, who has been documenting New Year's Eve traditions and exploits around the globe for the past 38 years. We first spoke with Jill about this project in the two-part show Legacy and Commitment in January 2022. Since she's now a full-fledged member of the podcast team, we thought we'd investigate some of her more memorable experiences a bit further. Jill is still shooting this series primarily with film, so our conversation ranges from the whys and wherefores of making that choice, to how the growth of the Internet became an essential research tool in the lead up to the Millennium and beyond. We also shed light on the elusive Austrian Perchten and Bulgarian Kukeri, and discuss parading Philadelphia Mummers, Bahamian Junkanoo figures, and Cape Town, South Africa's legendary Minstrel Parade. To learn about the most rewarding aspect of Jill's project and find out where she'll be ringing in New Year's Eve 2023, pull up a seat, pop some bubbly and listen in! Her personal work is centered in long-term photo projects, such as the ongoing New Year's Eve Project and other aspects of her focus on night photography. A royal correspondent has labelled Harry and Meghan's new series as underwhelming, and a little innocuous. The first three episodes were released on Netflix last night. Royal Correspondent Victoria Arbiter says there were parts of it that were wonderful - such as hearing their love story from them. She told Mike Hosking they're clearly very giddy about each other. Arbiter says there was a huge number of personal photographs, their video diary and footage of their children. She says some might argue they invaded their own privacy, but Harry says it's about consent. LISTEN ABOVE See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The playoff picture in both conferences was shaken like a snow-globe in an earthquake on Sunday afternoon as two developments from the late games may very well determine this January's playoff seedings.First, in San Francisco, 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo left the game with a broken foot that will reportedly sideline him for the rest of the season, significantly dampening the hopes of a major playoff contender. In that game, the 49ers beat the Miami Dolphins, bumping the Buffalo Bills atop the AFC East. Paired with the Cincinnati Bengals beating the Kansas City Chiefs in the afternoon's other marquee matchup, suddenly Buffalo jumped from the fifth to the first overall seed in a matter of hours.Charles Robinson & Frank Schwab react to all thirteen of Sunday's games from around the league including the aforementioned injury to Garoppolo, the Bengals rounding into Super Bowl form yet again, the Minnesota Vikings holding off the New York Jets, Deshaun Watson's return to football in Houston and Lamar Jackson's ill-timed knee injury.0:20 Miami Dolphins 17, San Francisco 49ers 3310:15 Kansas City Chiefs 24, Cincinnati Bengals 2718:40 New York Jets 22, Minnesota Vikings 2925:40 Washington Commanders 20, New York Giants 20 (OT)29:25 Cleveland Browns 27, Houston Texans 1441:45 Indianapolis Colts 19, Dallas Cowboys 5444:35 Tennessee Titans 10, Philadelphia Eagles 3548:40 Denver Broncos 9, Baltimore Ravens 1054:05 Los Angeles Chargers 20, Las Vegas Raiders 2757:50 Green Bay Packers 28, Chicago Bears 1959:40 Pittsburgh Steelers 19, Atlanta Falcons 1661:30 Jacksonville Jaguars 14, Detroit Lions 4064:40 Seattle Seahawks 27, Los Angeles Rams 23Stay up to date with the latest NFL news and coverage from Yahoo Sports on Twitter @YahooSportsNFL.Follow Charles @CharlesRobinsonPlease support Terez Paylor's legacy:• Buy an All-Juice Team hoodie or tee from BreakingT.com/Terez. Underworld - it has a reputation of not being very good. Is that to do with the obvious production issues or the story itself? We take on the quest of discussing....
The Supreme Court has ruled today that not allowing 16 and 17 year old's is discriminatory and has thrown the ball to parliament to see if they will decide to lower the voting age. Tonight, we speak to Sanat Singh, Co-Director of Make it 16 to see where we are at. The government last week has made an amendment to hate speech laws that seems to not make anyone happy, it doesn't change laws to help some of the communities that have been petitioning the government most passionately, and it has put a target on the back of one community making them potentially a scape goat for opponents of any changes. Max Tweedie from Auckland Pride comes to comment on the changes. Elon Musk has begun reinstating many of the once banned accounts on Twitter including former president Donald J Trump. Trump has thus far rejected Musk's advances to come back.

Big wins, leaps, and accomplishments are often associated with endorphin-rich highs and tons of elation, but what happens when the joy is short-lived, and we're left feeling a little underwhelmed about the whole thing? Sometimes the after-effect of a win is more anticlimactic than we thought it would be, and that's totally okay. Victory hangovers are a natural part of growing as a person, we won't always have the warm and fuzzies when we achieve something great. How do we deal with all the feelings that come with a win? In this episode, we talk about why we feel low after doing something really great. Three Things You'll Learn In This Episode - Why moments of accomplishment bring up unexpected feelings A huge part of growth is adjusting to a new set point for ourselves - is that what makes a win feel anticlimactic? - How to avoid a spiral into full-on negativity After a victory, our brains may offer less-than-helpful thoughts that can sabotage us, how do we shut them down? - Embracing the emotional rollercoaster of growth How do we make room for every emotion that comes with a victory hangover?

The guys mull over the mid-term election results, who won, who didn't win and why we thought that might be. why is the elections taking so long to get results and what can we do to change, or upgrade the system? why isn't that even a priority on the minds of everyone? We question ourselves and the thought process of todays voters. On today's episode, Jason gets the party started with a few quick thoughts on the Philadelphia Eagles' underwhelming Thursday Night Football victory over the Houston Texans. Philly mostly sleepwalked through the game and did just enough to get the win... but not quite enough to cover the spread. Plus, our fearless leader discusses Kyrie Irving's Instagram apology in the wake of the backlash (and eventual suspension) stemming from his social media promotion of an anti-Semitic documentary. It's clear that Kyrie only apologized because the Brooklyn Nets hit him in the wallet. Moreover, if Irving is really going to miss at least the next 5 games, does anybody really think things are going to get better for Brooklyn on the court? Later, professional sports bettor and FOX Sports Radio weekend host Bill Krackomberger swings by to discuss why he's always preferred betting NFL totals and futures rather than sides, why it's a smart play long-term to take double-digit underdogs against the spread, the importance of getting in early on gambling lines you like rather than waiting until the day or two before a game, why it's not unusual for big bettors such as himself to move gambling lines, why professional betting syndicates have been unable to make a ton of money through the first half of the NFL season, and much more! Finally, J-Mac closes the show with the NFL Week 9 edition of the Best Bet. We're back, and thank goodness we're talking about a Cougar victory over the Rice Owls, to extend the longest winning streak in Bayou Bucket history to 7 games. And yes, we did talk about some of the things we liked from Houston's 34-27 win. But we also didn't dance around some of the larger issues surrounding the football program. Basically, if you just won a rivalry game, and everybody from the head coach to the players to the fans seems to be frustrated, you might have some issues! So let's dig into those! After giving the Rice game a thorough post mortem, including your #FourWordReviews, we also gave our thoughts on what was a wild, noteworthy week 4 of the college football season.
