Tim Difford & Benjamin Chance reflect on what they were doing and listening to in 1984 on opposite sides of the Atlantic. Ben was in New York living it large in the era's most iconic nightclubs, Tim was crossing the border from Lancashire to Yorkshire in search of a cup of tea and an early night . Both were obsessed with the soundtrack of their lives. How did they differ? Where did they align? Find out... and check out their Top 5 tracks of the year, merged into this Spotify playlist.
