Donald Trump se za uplynulý rok na Kapitolu mohl spoléhat na relativně obdivuhodnou loajalitu svých spolustraníků. Bez ní by měl problémy. V dolní komoře se navíc republikánský náskok postupně snižoval, aktuálně například skrze předčasný odchod z politiky Trumpovy někdejší nejskalnější fanynky Marjorie Taylor Greeneové.

Naše vláda chce spravovat zemi tak, aby se občanům žilo lépe, prohlásil premiér Andrej Babiš (ANO). Řekl to na závěr svého vystoupení ve Sněmovně při žádosti o vyslovení důvěry pro svůj kabinet. Bylo by překvapením, kdyby politici při nástupu k moci slibovali něco jiného. Dělali to tak i v minulosti.

Druhým dnem jedná Sněmovna o důvěře vládě Andreje Babiše (ANO). Jeho kabinet stále nemá ministra životního prostředí, má ale nového zmocněnce pro Green Deal Filipa Turka (za Motoristy). „Jednak je to trafika, jednak tuto pozici podle Ústavy jako poslanec zastávat nemůže. Na ministerstvu nesmí nic rozhodovat, řídit ani nikoho úkolovat,“ upozorňuje exministr Petr Hladík (KDU-ČSL).

Někteří opoziční politici jsou přesvědčeni, že cesta k porážce Babišova hnutí ANO vede jedině přes spojenectví. A že už nebude stačit trojkoalice ODS, KDU-ČSL a TOP 09, ale bude nutné přibrat minimálně ještě Starosty. Především od stran bývalé vládní koalice, které musely podráždit jak výroky Tomia Okamury coby jednoho z pětice nejvyšších ústavních činitelů k Ukrajině a konkrétně k prezidentu Zelenskému a jeho okolí, tak celý tón vystoupení až po vyjádření víry, že republika „vyskočí z bruselského vlaku“. A tak dále, veřejným prostorem už citáty pár dní kolují.

Premiér Andrej Babiš (ANO) se po několika dnech mlčení vyjádřil k novoročnímu projevu Tomia Okamura (SPD) a jeho vyznění označil za snahu získat voliče. „Byl to projev předsedy Poslanecké sněmovny,“ oponuje Babišovi v pořadu Osobnost Plus Jindřich Šídlo, komentátor Seznam Zpráv. „To, že byl Okamurův projev natočen jako laciný youtubový klip, je jiná věc. Okamura je předsedou Sněmovny, protože pro něj hlasovali všichni poslanci hnutí ANO. Tohle je jejich spoluodpovědnost.“

Opozice chce vyvolat hlasování o odvolání předsedy SPD z postu předsedy Poslanecké sněmovny, Starostové navíc požadují, aby se Sněmovna jako celek od Okamurových výroků, kterými urážel Ukrajince a představitele Evropské unie distancovala.
