A bizarre organization called Love Has Won was recently forced out of Hawaii by law enforcement for causing fires, riots, and vandalism. They are a Colorado based cult whose leader, Amy Carlson, goes by “Mother,” is a former McDonalds manager, an alcoholic, and drug addict. The group live-streams every day, where the leader can be seen verbally abusing members. The leader has also taken disability and social security checks from members. In May 2020, they came under fire for leaving a man in the desert naked for three days. A missing person is also connected to the cult. Between 1986 and 1991, the bodies of 10 women were found raped and strangled to death in the South Korean city of Hwaseong. It was the largest criminal case in South Korean history, often compared to the Zodiac murders, with over 21,000 suspects investigated. A movie based on the crimes called Memories of Murder was released in 2003, directed by Oscar winner Bong Joon-ho of Parasite. In the late 1900s, teenage girls and young women were hired at the United States Radium Company to paint watch dials with glowing paint.
