Jasmuheen is an Australian guru who became popular in the 90s for her belief system that you don't need food to survive, only energy. She claims she hasn't eaten food or drank water in years. The scientific community dismissed her beliefs as pseudoscience, but she has made a fortune from lectures and books about the wonders of "living on light.” She agreed to be monitored for a week without food or water for 60 Minutes, and it did not go well. If you’ve ever tried to get ice cream at McDonald’s, there’s a good chance you couldn’t because the ice cream machine was out-of-order. Even more frustratingly, these machines can't be easily fixed by McDonald’s employees because the error codes are secret, and can only be read by a repair person from the company that makes the machine. The reason why McDonald's doesn't just supply its franchises with properly working ice cream machines is a conspiracy between two companies that goes very deep.
