Since we last talked to you Orlando City has returned to its winning ways. The Lions closed out May with a win over D.C. United and started June with a hard-fought 0-0 draw vs. the Chicago Fire despite being down not one, but two men. We break down both games and give you our Man of the Match picks, as well as some thoughts on Sunday night’s referee, Ted Unkel. Orlando City enters the international break undefeated and untied after defeating the Philadelphia Union, 2-1, on Saturday night at the club’s brand new purple palace. It’s always nicer to talk about wins than losses (or draws) and so here we are to break down a thoroughly satisfying win over another Eastern Conference rival. Goals, passes, individual battles and our Man of the Match picks — we discussed it all. Anthony Pulis is the Head Coach of Orlando City B in the USL. Anthony is the son of West Bromwich Albion F.C. manager, Tony Pulis. Anthony grew up playing for his father and in the England lower leagues before moving to the USA to play for Adrian Heath and Orlando City. Once Anthony retired in 2014 he was offered the opportunity to go straight into coaching with Orlando City's USL side, where he currently is beginning his 2nd season in charge.
