Her book, He's My Brother focuses on how siblings sometimes feel alone after a diagnosis of autism. After Debbie's son, Joseph was diagnosed with autism, she felt the need to raise awareness about the disorder and become an advocate through her writing. Doing research and conversations with her older son Jonathan, she discovered that siblings sometimes feel alone after a diagnosis of autism. There is little focus on their thoughts and emotions, and they are are forced to cope alone. He's My Brother was written with the intent of bringing awareness to this situation in addition to supplying information about autism. http://www.amazon.com/dp/151151812X/ref=cm_sw_su_dp http://www.debbieroppolo.weebly.com JD: http://jdswritersblog.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-authors-words-author-debbie-roppolo.html
