About a year ago, in Episode 312, Dave spoke with Amanda, a millennial, who was working her way through the Coronavirus pandemic. Fortunately, she was given some personal finance materials and had started down the path of financial wellness a few months before the pandemic hit. She calculated that she could survive financially for another 6 months. Now, a year later, Dave circles back to see how she is doing. Did Amanda make it?
26-year-old single mother Amanda Jones who was also 8 ½ months pregnant disappeared, and to anyone who knew her, it didn’t seem right. She disappeared from Hillsboro, Missouri on August 14, 2005 after meeting with the soon-to-be father of her baby. With a lack of evidence and cooperation, the police are unable to do anything besides continue their search and hope somebody comes forward with important information. Until then, the family will continue to wait for answers. If you were present at the Civic Center on August 14, 2005, you might be the missing link and should reach out to local law enforcement. Even something you don’t think is important could be the information that breaks the case. 16 years is way too long for anyone to have to wait for answers. Unfortunately, it seems all too common in some of the cases we bring to you: from Karen Bodine to the Jeff Davis 8, and now Amanda Jones. Why isn’t anyone coming forward?Did Amanda decide to start over and build herself back up from nothing, leaving her daughter behind? Or is something more sinister at play?Do you know what happened to Amanda Jones?

He eats like a 12-year-old.” – Amanda Valentine “My initial goal was to lose 15 pounds in three months and I lost 20 and I did it on my own without a diet. I was like, ‘Oh my God. While there was no direct evidence, her odd behavior and sex life would become the focus of the trial the whole world had their eyes on. Unicorn Store is Brie Larson's directorial debut! It's a bright, colourful, and totally extra coming of age film tackling some pretty tough issues. Learning to love yourself and those around you for who they are, even if you come with extra glitter and rainbows, and embracing your weird ass self, even when it feels like the whole world's against you. We both loved this film (some a bit more than others) and think that it brings up elements of life that everyone needs to think about. While the extraness might appeal to most of Gen Z and lots of Gen X (otherwise known as the Millennials), the lessons it teaches are so widely applicable. If you've ever felt like you don't belong, or you feel like your parents just don't get you, or maybe the whole world doesn't get you - this is a film for you. It's heartwarming, endearing, and full of colour, mystery, and magic! Hosts Monika and Amanda don't see completely eye-to-eye about this film, and some pretty in-depth debate happens after a spoiler warning. Did Amanda manage to change Monika's mind?? You'll have to listen to find out! Check out Unicorn Store on IMDB (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2338454/?ref_=nv_sr_1?ref_=nv_sr_1) and watch it on Netflix for yourself! Fei Long for the win! I guess you could look back at the last couple of episodes and claim that we got a very predictable result given that the Fei Long four held tight, but there was plenty of suspense with tonight's episode to keep us guessing. Was anyone besides Stacy rooting for PG, even just a little to make it to final four? Do you think Courtney knew what she was doing at the reward challenge? Did she purposely give the win to Denise to avoid having to make the choices of who would get to join the winner? Did Amanda miss her chance to get rid of her biggest remaining threat? Will her decision to not eliminate Todd come back to haunt her? Who's the better Survivor player: Denise or Courtney? Here's the final four for Survivor China. Hae Da Fung: Amanda, Courtney, Denise, and Todd We're a little confused about how this is going to play out though. The "Next on Survivor" at the end of tonight's episode said there would be 3 more tribal councils, but the "Next Episode" text at the website says that "the final three are held accountable for their actions". How can you go to Tribal Council 3 more times if we only have 4 Survivors left? Regardless, here's how we think the final four order will play out: 4th3rd2ndWinner! Jo Ann Denise Courtney Todd Amanda Stacy Courtney Amanda Denise Todd What are your picks for the final four order? We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277).
