Welcome back to another Disney Legends episode! We are excited to break down the life and career of Disney attraction and vehicle designer Bob Gurr. He once said, "If it moved on wheels, I probably designed it." There is so much we have to thank him for when it comes to the Disney park experience. We're so glad you're here!
In this episode, Adam and Patrick embrace the spooky season, head to The Haunted Mansion, and discuss the lives and creative legacies of Disney Legends Bob Gurr and Danny Elfman. The guys also recognize two performers who are connected to the classic Disney attraction as GDTD Legends. As always, Adam & Patrick cover the latest Disney news and close the show with some Quick D! Want to gather magical wisdom about the Magic Kingdom? Sammy Pratt will share with us how he spent last week learning from legends. Sammy Pratt is a 20-year old Phoenix Native. Recently he has completed his freshman year at the University of Arizona. He is studying both business economics and management. After finishing college, Sammy and his older brother Kyle, plan on using their degrees to help achieve their goals and dreams in the Walt Disney Company. Just last week, Sammy and Kyle met at the homes of Disney Legends Bob Gurr and Rolly Crump. Bob and Rolly helped build Walt Disney's original Magic Kingdom. Both Disney icons worked directly with Walt to construct and create such classics as the Disneyland Monorail, Autopia, Haunted Mansion, It's a Small World, The Tiki Room and more. Listen as we discuss the magical knowledge and the impact that these legends had on Sammy, Kyle, and the entire world.
