It has been said that grief is as individual as a fingerprint. It's complex and it's personal. I have found that to be true in my life and in conversation with other caregivers. How do we process our grief? How do we start to find some semblance of healing in the midst of caring for a loved one and anticipating the loss? Dr. Eboni Green is my guest today and she has firsthand experience in how deep loss can expose our need for a safe place to talk about our grief and to process our pain. I admire Dr. Eboni Green's work, I admire her heart and her gentleness. I'm so thankful she shares her personal story, professional journey, and insight into grief with us. Dr. Green is a registered nurse and a family caregiver. She holds a Ph.D. in human services specializing in healthcare administration. Eboni has always had a great sense of finished product. A turning point for her came when she realized she was "Too dope to be this broke," and she believed!
