In the fourth and final message in our series "The Satisfied Soul," Pastor Tyler Crandall taught us about gratitude. We saw the differences between thankfulness and gratitude, mainly that thankfulness more or less shows up where you'd expect, but gratitude is sometimes harder. Gratitude is an attitude of appreciation in any circumstances. Gratitude is often a gritty, hard-fought thanksgiving. Today's sermon features several songs. A "Thanksgiving Medley" of the following four songs: 1. "He Has Made Me Glad" CCLI Song # 1493 © 1976 Universal Music - Brentwood Benson Publishing 2. When I've been lied to or made fun of or cheated on or yelled at or abused or forgotten about... or just plain hurt, it's difficult to let go of that pain. It's difficult to let go of the resentment and bitterness that I have every right to... feel. But what if I could forgive? What if I could keep from holding a grudge? I know it would benefit that other person, but how would it benefit me? _________________________ 00:00 Welcome / Prayer 04:05 “He Has Made Me Glad” 05:11 “Lift Him High” 07:54 “And Can It Be?” 10:29 Communion 15:31 “Blessed Be Your Name” 18:29 Sermon 59:22 “Lord, Take Control” 01:01:12 Closing Comments / Prayer 01:07:07 “Come Taste and See”
"Nothing seems to be happening." "It feels like the same thing day after day." "I can't seem to move forward." "I feel like I'm in a rut." Ever make any statements like these? It happens to all of us from time to time. We can't seem to get any traction. Things aren't necessarily bad, but they're not getting any better either. We feel like we repeat the same routine day after day. We just feel...well...stuck. If you're feeling stuck in some area of your life right now, you need to know that God can get you unstuck. Join us on Sundays in October as we learn together the ways that God provides to get us unstuck. ----------------------------------------------- 00:05 Welcome / Prayer 03:30 “He Has Made Me Glad” 04:34 “New Doxology” 07:17 “Lift Him High” 10:20 Communion 13:26 “The Joy of the Lord” 15:25 Sermon 58:10 “Turn My Heart” 1:00:10 Closing Comments / Prayer 1:04:45 “Let God Arise”
