Odds and Ends: We talk Oscar nom predictions; Nick shines, while T.J. jacks in Feature Film: We cover the most hateful piece of poopoo we've probably ever seen, Vince Offer's Inappropriate Comedy. Or rather, hmh (I am smirking and laughing to myself), InAPPropriate Comedy! Because it's on a tablet, which has apps! Yeah, that's the kind of goofs you're getting when you step into the Slapchop realm, baby. Odds and Ends: T.J. is an adult and a man who knows what he likes, and what he likes is a watching a quiet Japanese man play Minecraft; Nick likes reality questioning sci-fi movies specifically from 1999; Feature Film: We check out another oldie, and our first John Huston and Humphrey Bogart flick, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Bogart plays an against type (as far as we know) villainous heel type, and John Huston's dad plays just a really cool dude. It's kind of a western, kind of an adventure, kind of a classic! Director Chris VanArtsdalen (The Birthday Boys) joins to discuss Wes Anderson's newest, ASTEROID CITY starring Jason Schwartzman, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, Jeffrey Wright, Tilda Swinton, Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Adrien Brody and many more. Anderson uses a nesting play-within-a-show-within-a-movie structure to tell the story of a Junior Stargazing event gone awry in a remote desert town. ASTEROID CITY has opened to mostly positive reviews and promising box office returns, but some critics have contended that Anderson's distinct style has worn out its welcome in this, his 11th feature film. Hitch a ride with Mama Needs a Movie as we take a trip into the heart of ASTEROID CITY with some detours into Adrien Brody's SNL hosting, staying up late, InAPPropriate Comedy, Trumbo, Bane impressions and much, much more! ASTEROID CITY is now playing in theaters.

The ShamWow Guy made a sketch movie that stars Michelle Rodriguez, Adrien Brody, and our hero Rob Schneider. Turns out that when The ShamWow Guy (Vince Offer) isn't selling garbage on TV or getting arrested for punching prostitutes he's making movies. Schneider is only in a couple scenes, but he's still top billed for some reason. He's joined by Michelle Rodriguez of Fast and the Furious fame and Oscar Award Winning actor Adrien Brody. Ari Shaffir, Stand up Comedian and also known for his pranks on, “The Amazing Racist” and movie, “InAPPropriate Comedy” is our guest this week on Yoshi Didn’t. Ari starts the episode off strong attempting to cross boundaries into Yoshi’s personal life and hilariously provoking him for information throughout the show. As tension builds around the topic of relationships, discussion of hookers and trannies help transition the awkwardness into more comfortable, comedic stomping grounds. Yoshi also discusses his appearance on Ari’s podcast, “Skeptic Tank” where he first disclosed information of unethical practices and experiences in the porn world. Ari then takes us deeper into his dedicated life as a stand up, the beefy drama he encountered with fellow comedians, his perspective of growing up Jewish in DC and his family's holocaust experience, the process of transitioning from working at the World Famous Comedy Store to becoming a headliner and, of course, awesome Joe Rogan/UFC stories.
