This week on the Naperville Public Library Podcast, we're celebrating #InternationalGamesWeek! In case you don't know, International Games Week is an initiative of the American Library Associationto reconnect communities through their libraries around the educational, recreational, and social value of all types of games! We are joined by Rebecca Strang who is Children's Services Librarian at the 95th St. Library and a very avid gamer! We're talking IGW, the benefits of playing games with family and friends and we find out what Rebecca has been playing during quarantine! This year, library events look a little different as we follow social distancing guidelines, but games are a great way to overcome social isolation, whether you play at home with family or online with friends! Naperville Public Library's Children's Services team has put together a kit with three print-and-play games that you can craft and play at home!
