In this episode, I share my episode, 'Growing Up Pretty' podcast episode with the Pinky Promise Podcast with hosts Katie Arroyo and Laura Manasewich. About our episode: "This week we were thrilled to be joined by actress, writer, producer, podcaster and self care muse Candy Washington. In most of our episodes our guests regale us with cringe-worthy tales of awkward, absurd or extreme nerd, but this week is different. In 8th grade Candy asked one of the Brians in her class (SO MANY BRIANS) why all the boys wanted to be her friend, and that's when she realized she was pretty! Katie and Laura weren't sure they'd have a whole lot to contribute to this episode but Candy helped them to see that they did. Self love! Self care! There's more to you than your appearance! We love you, and we hope you love you too." I'm joined by Laura Manasewich, a comedian/performer and the co-host of Pinky Promise - A Podcast About Growing Up! She tells the story about the time her dog took commands from a ghost...or was it?
