February kicks off our look at love gone wrong true crime made-for-TV movies. We start with a 90s star-studded affair in "No One Would Tell," based on a true story of a deadly high school romance. Starring "The Wonder Years" Fred Savage and "Full House's" Candace Cameron, "Tell" follows Stacey as her friends and family fail to tell, and later, convince her that her boyfriend, Bobby, is a real stinkin' creep. Listen in, how about? ABOUT TV MOVIE NIGHT: TV Movie Night is a podcast featuring TV what-have-yous Andrew Krukowski and Mark Gonzales diving into the retro world of made-for-tv movies. Each episode spotlights one of these forgotten "classics" (and sometimes without the scare-quotes classics), enjoying cinema on the small screen an episode at a time. Past episodes include landmark films like "The Day After," lost gems like "The Night of the Scarecrow," and odder fare like "Single Santa Seeks Mrs. Claus." When over 100 million people watch something, there is no way we can avoid talking about it. We discuss our favorite trailers from this year's Super Bowl. And yes we chose to talk about Knuckles instead of Wicked. And was there a commercial for Scientology during the big game or are people just messing with us?Bram Stoker is a horror icon, but not in the same way as other creators like Stephen King or John Carpenter. Stoker is known for Dracula and nothing else. It is the rare case where the work has completely overshadowed the author. Still, "Bram Stoker's Dracula' still carries a lot of weight to many more than just horror audiences. But when you ask people to name any of Stoker's other works, the question will probably be met with a blank stare. in 1988, director Ken Russell gifted the world with his take on The Lair of the White Worm. Sexy, sensual, frightening, and an assault on the senses, the film is an underrated gem that we could not say enough good things about as hard as we tried. After school specials went away a long time ago, but those who are old enough, remember them fondly. Though it was a Lifetime movie, 1996's No One Would Tell definitely fits in the category. Its story of a high school girl being abused by her boyfriend is a powerful one that remained with anyone who saw it.But how well does it work in 2024? Putting aside how strange it is to see Fred Savage and Candance Cameron star in a movie about respecting women, it is a very effective movie. There are some poor writing decisions that are impossible to ignore, but the tension, pacing, and overall tone make for an impactful watch. This is a no-holds-barred release from Apst Faith Oniya (PhD); what no one will tell you, what they are afraid to tell you and what they think is evil because exegesis does not contain it and because they think it all ends with the written scriptures. Apst Faith Oniya (PhD) begins to name angels and what they do starting with this 3-part series. He elucidates so explicitly on the angelic cadre and their relationship "with" (better still "IN") God. He explains why anyone who calls himself an Apostle should have mysteries. He explains the fear and misunderstanding of how exegesis limited men from knowing who they are and what they can do. He explains the missing gap in exegesis of how seeking the kingdom first brings material control and submission under the man in Christ. Pheeeeew...until you listen you may never know. Looking Back On My Wonder Years: A Wonder Years Podcast

Hey Wonderlings, It’s the 100th episode of the podcast. Here’s the movie No One Would Tell starring Fred Savage and Candace Cameron. High school student 16-year-old Stacy Collins has never been in a relationship, as she has always been shy and never felt like part of the crowd. So when she hears that Bobby, a popular student and athlete, is interested in her, she immediately decides to go for it. But not soon after, Bobby starts to get jealous and manipulates her, constantly telling her what she can and cannot do. Things eventually escalate even further when Bobby would get physically violent with Stacy if she did anything that he didn't approve. With constant fighting, yelling, misunderstandings, and bruises, it is not long before Stacy's mother and friends suspect that something is wrong and start to worry that her life may be in danger. Despite the situation and constant pleas from others, Stacy would not let Bobby go and would take his side, refusing to end the relationship and telling everyone that everything is okay. Eventually, she comes to her senses and decides to break things off. But, at the last minute, she makes one last decision. However, her decision would lead to a deadly consequence. Let me just say this movie took me a week to get through. It was emotionally draining at times and I went on a lot of angry rants so I apologize in advance for the occasional screaming, but I won’t apologize for the dropped “F” bombs as they were well deserved given the plot of this movie. After the movie review I do talk about my own personal experience dealing with the death of a friend when I was 19 that I had to find out about in the newspaper. This was back in 2001. Don’t worry, the next Fred Savage movies I cover will be like a breath of fresh air after this.
