Sit back, relax and enjoy this fun conversation between John Reardon and Fred Savage. Best known for his role as Kevin Arnold in the iconic US T.V. series 'The Wonder Years' (1988-1993), Fred is also an accomplished director and producer. Perhaps not as well known is the fact that Fred has a serious interest in watch collecting and last year he launched Timepiece Grading Specialists (TGS) — a company dedicated to bringing more transparency to the vintage watch collecting world. In this entertaining podcast, Fred discusses his extraordinary career and why he decide to launchd TGS after an experience with an auction house that left him “crestfallen". Also, for the first time on the Collectability Podcast, John presents a selection of Patek Philippe watches, carefully selected to entice Fred into purchasing his very first Patek. To learn which are the five most important questions John likes to ask a potential buyer, and which watch catches Fred's eye, listen here and let us know which watch you would have selected.Shop for your favorite watches at the Collectability Shop: https://collectability.com/shop/Learn more about Collectability on our website: https://collectability.com Follow us on Instagram for regular updates: https://www.instagram.com/collectabilityllc/Listen, like and subscribe to the podcast on your favorite platform: https://linktr.ee/Collectability

When award-winning comedian Liz Glazer watched The Wonder Years as a kid, she thought she was seeing, for the first time a kid just like her: one who knew even as he lived his life that he'd one day look back on all this wistfully. This simple (mis?)interpretation of the show foreshadowed the type of adult she'd grow into: a comedian who is able to weave tragic experience into comedy with ease. After Jordan and Liz's conversation, Jordan has one quick thing about the new John Cena/Jackie Chan pairing we've all been waiting for (right?).***With Jordan Crucchiola and Liz GlazerLiz's new LP, A Very Particular Experience

In our first in-person recording in far too long, we excitedly welcome back our friend Leah to discuss the ABC remake of a childhood classic: The Wonder Years. The new version takes place in 1968 like the original but follows a black family in Montgomery, Alabama instead of a white family in the nameless suburbs. How does it stack up against our childhood memories of Kevin Arnold and Winnie Cooper? In Screen Time in the News, we discuss Nickelodeon's upcoming projects.

In March of 1988, ABC introduced the world to The Wonder Years - A coming-of-age TV series that starred Fred Savage as Kevin Arnold, a teenager growing up in a suburban middle-class family in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Aside from being a great show, it had an amazing soundtrack which is our theme for this episode of RITY.

In the late 1980s, audiences across America met Kevin Arnold, a 12-year-old boy growing up in the 1960s. Guided by the voice of Daniel Stern, The Wonder Years brought viewers back to that wonderful time between childhood and adulthood, when we felt everything all at once, and understood none of it. Come join us as we explore the history of The Wonder Years, and break down its pilot episode! Was machte Rebel Assault aber so besonders ?
