In this episode, Dave and Ann Wilson dive into the power of storytelling and theology in Jordan Raynor's latest book, ""The Royal in You."" The conversation begins with a surprising endorsement of Jordan's book from Candace Cameron Bure, who praises it for being one of the best ways to help children understand God. Jordan shares the inspiration behind his first book, ""The Creator Knows,"" and elaborates on why he wanted to continue the story with ""The Royal in You,"" which focuses on the future hope of Heaven and the New Earth. The episode dives into the heart of the theological message Jordan is sharing with kids: that Heaven isn't the place where people will live eternally in the clouds, but rather it will be a renewed Earth where believers will reign with Christ. Jordan and the hosts discuss how common misconceptions about Heaven have been perpetuated, particularly the idea that Heaven is a boring, disembodied existence where people will do nothing but sing for eternity. They correct this idea by referencing Scriptures like Revelation 21, where it's clear that the New Earth will be a place of joyful, meaningful work with Christ at the center.Jordan shares insights on how work in the New Earth will be fulfilling and exciting. He contrasts the work we know today, which is marred by the curse of sin, with the future work in the New Earth, which will be perfect, untainted, and done alongside Jesus. The episode encourages listeners to view their work today as a practice for the eternal work they will do with Christ in the renewed world. The discussion also touches on the importance of teaching children these biblical truths, emphasizing that understanding the New Earth will help them look forward to eternity with Christ. Parents and grandparents can instill hope and excitement in their kids by reading ""The Royal in You"" to them, as it offers a vivid portrayal of what the future holds. In addition, Jordan offers resources for parents, including a free e-book and a devotional app, to deepen their understanding of Heaven and the New Earth. The conversation concludes by reflecting on how the church's traditional teachings about Heaven have often fallen short, and how reimagining Heaven as a renewed Earth can inspire both adults and children to live with greater joy, anticipation, and faithfulness in their everyday lives. It's Tuesday, March 11th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Supreme Court takes case of Christian counselor vs. transgenderism The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear a Colorado case of a counselor who has been cited for counseling clients under 18 about a Biblically sound position on homosexuality and transgenderism.   Alliance Defending Freedom will argue that the Colorado law violates counselor Kaley Chiles' freedom of speech. Colorado law currently allows counseling conversations that aim to steer young people towards transgenderism, but prohibits conversations that aim to help them to remain content with their God-given gender. Thus far, 26 out of 50 U.S. states have endorsed body-mutilating surgeries for children between the ages of 13 and 17. Thousand citizens and militants killed by Syrian government France 24 reports as many as a thousand citizens and militants have been killed by supporters of the new Syrian government over the last few days. Execution style murders are being conducted in the Alawite State of Northwest Syria, and some of the victims are Christians.   Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa denounced the violence. Al-SHARAA (through a translator): “Anyone who commits violence against civilians will be held accountable. It is our duty to protect our compatriots.” Menacing warships from Russia, China, and Iran Eastern nations are forming closer military and political alliances as warships from Russia, China, and Iran initiated joint exercises on Monday in the Gulf of Oman. This is the fifth such drill since 2019.  Dutch reject one true God, turning to false Muslim god Religious faith is declining in the Netherlands.  A recent survey found only 13% of the Dutch consider themselves Protestant, and only 4% attend Protestant churches. That compares to 6% of the Dutch aligned with the Muslim religion. The study discovered that Protestants are losing adherents by a rate of 3% every decade, while the Muslims are increasing by a rate of 1% every ten years. Swiss Evangelicals drop from 34% to 3% Another survey conducted in Switzerland found only 3% of the population attend an Evangelical church. And the Evangelical population has dropped off to 19.5% of the population, down from 34% in the year 2000. Over the same period of time, the Muslim population increased from 3.6% to 6.0%. The rate of Protestants leaving the Swiss churches has topped 1.6% per year. Catholics are leaving the church at the rate of 1.2% per year. The warning from Romans 11:20 to be humble is appropriate for the Gentile nations: “Because of unbelief [the branches] were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either.”  Wyoming Gov. cuts property tax 25% and bans transgender nonsense Wyoming Republican Governor Mark Gordon signed several bills mirroring the Trump agenda over the last week.   He signed a bill cutting property tax by 25%, and another bill banning government programs which favor or disfavor people on the basis of religion, race, or sex. John MacArthur: “I'm on my last lap.” Pastor John MacArthur appeared on video at his Shepherd's Conference last week. The 85-year-old pastor of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California and the voice of the Grace to You radio ministry has undergone three heart surgeries and lung surgery over the last several months. He noted that he's slowly recovering strength after the ordeal. He closed his address with these words. MacARTHUR:  “I realize I'm on the last lap. That takes on a new meaning when you know you're on the short end of the candle. But I am all thanks and praise to God for everything He's allowed me to be a part of and everything He's accomplished by His Word in these years of ministry. Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord, Jesus Christ.” MovieGuide affirmed best pro-family movies and actors The 2025 pro-family MovieGuide annual awards were announced last week. The most inspiring movie award went to the Catholic story of “Cabrini.” The film “Reagan” on the life of the U.S. president, received the Faith and Freedom award. The most inspiring performance of an actress went to Candace Cameron Bure, for her role in “A Christmas Less Travelled” on the Great American Family Network. And the most inspiring performance for an actor was awarded to Jesse Hutch for his role in “Christmas Under the Northern Lights.” Bitcoin down, Gold up Bitcoin has lost 22% of its value in the last month. Gold is up 4%, now hovering around $2,900 and change per ounce. The U.S. trade deficit has spiked 100% year-over-year in January, hitting a record $155 billion — which would amount to almost a $2 trillion annual deficit. Exercise helps sleep And finally, it turns out that exercise is helpful for sleeping.  That's the conclusion arrived at by researchers studying a group of 2,170 people ages 60 and older. Muscle training such as lifting weights and doing pushups improved sleep scores by 5.75 points and aerobic exercise improved sleep scores by 3.76 points.  1 Timothy 4:8 reminds us that “while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Tuesday, March 11th, in the year of our Lord 2025. Subscribe by Amazon Music or by iTunes or email to our unique Christian newscast at www.TheWorldview.com. In part 2 of our sit down with Jodie Sweetin we delve into her rich career and personal life, offering an insightful peek behind the curtain. We kick off with her reflecting on the contrasts between filming before a live studio audience and performing live on stage.  The discussion turns to Jodie's involvement with Jeff Lewis and how she became a chump and she recounts the initial meeting and how it blossomed into a genuine friendship with Jeff and other members of his circle. She emphasizes the importance of these relationships, highlighting how they've become a significant part of her life beyond just professional connections. From there, Jodie talks about her live show “Family Dinner,” a project she holds close to her heart and centers around the warmth and intimacy of sharing a meal with friends and family.  As the conversation transitions into Hot Topics, the trio delves into Jodie's thoughts on the reboot of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey and she informs us she prefers spending her time reading. This revelation leads to a broader discussion about the nature of reality television and how it doesn't truly reflect the reality it claims to portray. Another Haute topic of discussion is Candace Cameron Bure's controversial statements about the “drag queen” at the Paris Olympics. Jodie acknowledges their sisterly bond but makes it clear that they have vastly different views, especially regarding LGBTQ+ rights and she expresses her unwavering support for the LGBTQ+ community, emphasizing that love and acceptance should be universal. She talks about how she reconciles her spirituality with the need to support and uplift marginalized communities, particularly the LGBTQ+ community. We also weigh in, discussing the complexities of maintaining friendships across different political and religious beliefs.  Shifting gears, we take a lighter turn with Runway Rundown and critique the red carpet looks of celebrities Pink, Colman Domingo and Jodie herself! Jodie reflects on her late grandmother, a figure who played a significant role in her life and she shares poignant memories discussing how her presence is still felt in her life through small, meaningful signs like butterflies.  Jodie opens about the challenges of being a child actor and the pressures that come with the territory and reflects on the best advice she received from her mother, who reminded her that fame doesn't last forever and that it's important to plan for life beyond the spotlight and cherish those you love, referring to the passing of the beloved, Bob Saget. This leads to an emotional coffee cup reading, where Pol' interprets the symbols left in her cup, revealing a heart that symbolizes Jodie's ongoing connection with her grandmother. Jodie's emotional response highlights the depth of her bond with her grandmother, making this one of the most touching moments. As the episode draws to a close, the conversation circles back to fashion, her life as a Hallmark Movie Queen, new projects and taking on new adventures, including a directing opportunity she's excited about. Pol's encouragement for Jodie to say “yes” to new opportunities resonates deeply, echoing her personal mantra of embracing life's adventures. This is another Hurrdat Media Production. We explain the logical conclusion of teaching kids about incorrect and explicit sexual philosophies and why this is a tactic the Left uses.
