Last night, we had three couples over with a couple of intentions in mind. My son-in-law is taking an EMT class and has to do 100 assessments (blood pressure, decisions about various problems the patient pretends to have). There were a couple of ladies in my neighborhood who had expressed interest in learning how to make really flaky pie crust. So we combined the two!I provided my ‘Master Pie Maker’ skill for those who were interested. They came to learn and in exchange, they gave 15 minutes of their evening to helping Jeremy get a few more assessments marked off.The “AHA” I had on our gratitude call today was that there was no money exchanged, but the whole event felt super abundant!Of course we had an abundance of pie, which is always great. There was an abundance of laughter and conversation. And there was a flow of abundance that comes from freely giving and receiving. Togetherness means giving and receiving freely in the attitude of abundanceAnother interesting thought that Coleen shared on the call – the togetherness of molecules, electrons, neutrons, etc. The chemistry that happens when Hydrogen and Oxygen come together to create water.Togetherness means attracting the perfect components to create something more useful that can be created aloneMary, on the call helped us understand the honor and appreciation and LOVE that happens when diverse cultures, beliefs and personalities are brought together and unified in a common purpose.Togetherness means unity in a common goal that is based in faith and loveKathy, whose husband had a stroke a couple of months ago, mentioned that she and her husband have been inseparable during his recovery.
