In this episode, Ella sits down with Rose and Peter to share their journey from big spending habits and no clear plan, to becoming mortgage free in under 6 months. Before Infinity, they were living comfortably but without structure, spending on takeaways, holidays, and day-to-day expenses without real awareness. Everything changed once they implemented a clear budget and gave every dollar a purpose. By staying consistent, they reduced their weekly spend from $650 to $500 and created a system that allowed them to pay off their home fast and invest in their future. They also open up about a major health scare early in their journey and how being mortgage-free removed financial stress, allowing them to focus purely on recovery. This episode highlights the true power of structure, support, and having a plan, not just to build wealth, but to create real security when life throws the unexpected.

Tune into this week's podcast where J reflects deeply on Peter's words to slaves (and us all): bearing unjust suffering graciously, just as Christ did for you. Explore echoes of Isaiah's Suffering Servant—sinless, insulted, yet entrusting all to God—calling us to die to sin, live righteously, and love even those who wound us. It's a raw reminder that we're not alone; community and the Spirit empower us to walk His path. Stream on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or YouTube today—ideal for midweek reset! This is the concluding message in this brief Peter Series and begins by pointing out why New Testament scholars consider that Jude was either the amanuensis of Second Peter or was at least a significant influence on Second Peter. Both apostles were concerned that their audiences would be prone to the errors of the false teachers, and that they would need something to remind them of what had taught His apostles to teach. The two New Testament epistles ascribed to the Apostle Peter are lesser known by most Christians than the Epistles of the Apostle Paul. Some scholars believe that First Peter may have been written to young Christians and may have even served as a 'catechism' for those about to be water baptised. In this episode, we look at how Peter presents God as Father, Son, and Spirit, and how Christianity commences with becoming 'born again'. But this is not where Christianity ends - and that aged Apostle Peter gives instructions on how a new believer is to grow in the faith by exploring what the knowledge of God and HIs grace requires.

Preacher: Kathy Maskell Scripture: 1 Peter 2:4-12 4 As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— 5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house[a] to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6 For in Scripture it says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” 7 Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,” 8 and, “A stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall.” They stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for. 9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. Living Godly Lives in a Pagan Society 11 Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul. 12 Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.

Pastor Nathan delivers a beautiful message on trusting God with our everything. Even in the midst of suffering.
On this week's episode of BVC Pastor Speak, Pastor Derrick Lynch and Zach Wiggins, Minister to Students, answer questions that came up during our preaching series through 2 Peter about the coming judgement.· What role does sanctification play in our judgment?· What's the difference between how a believer and non-believer are judged?· Do we earn “crowns” for our good works? If so, what's the point of having crowns?· What exactly is happening at the “great white throne” in revelation?· How can I be sure of where I stand with God now?
