Alt dette og meget mere diskuterer vi med ugens gæst, phd. studerede i filosofi med speciale i autonome våbensystemer Sune WithVært: Maia Kahlke LorentzenGæst: Sune With Støt os på PatreonKilder:Sullivan, S.; Ricket, I, 2024, "Targeting in the Black Box," 16th International Conference on Cyber Conflict: Over the Horizon (CyCon), Tallinn, Estonia, pp. 207-220.https://doi.org/10.23919/CyCon62501.2024.10685575IDF, 2024, ”The IDF's Use of Data Technologies in Intelligence Processing”, IDF Press Releases (Accessed January 19, 2025)https://www.idf.il/en/mini-sites/idf-press-releases-israel-at-war/june-24-pr/the-idfs-use-of-data-technologies-in-intelligence-processing-published-june-18-2024/Abraham, Yural, November 30. 2023, “A mass assassination factory: Inside Israels calculated bombing of Gaza”, +972Magazine, (Accessed March 3. 2025)https://www.972mag.com/mass-assassination-factory-israel-calculated-bombing-gaza/Abraham, Yural, April 3. 2024, “Lavender”:The AI machine directing Israels bombing spree in Gaza, +972Magazine, (Accessed March 25. 2025). https://www.972mag.com/lavender-ai-israeli-army-gaza/Definitioner og beskrivelser af AI-DSS i militæret. This is the concluding message in this brief Peter Series and begins by pointing out why New Testament scholars consider that Jude was either the amanuensis of Second Peter or was at least a significant influence on Second Peter. Both apostles were concerned that their audiences would be prone to the errors of the false teachers, and that they would need something to remind them of what had taught His apostles to teach. The two New Testament epistles ascribed to the Apostle Peter are lesser known by most Christians than the Epistles of the Apostle Paul. Some scholars believe that First Peter may have been written to young Christians and may have even served as a 'catechism' for those about to be water baptised. In this episode, we look at how Peter presents God as Father, Son, and Spirit, and how Christianity commences with becoming 'born again'. But this is not where Christianity ends - and that aged Apostle Peter gives instructions on how a new believer is to grow in the faith by exploring what the knowledge of God and HIs grace requires.
The apostle Peter knows that his execution as a martyr is imminent and now pours out his pastoral heart for those he is writing to. He is deeply aware in the Spirit that after his 'departure' that false teachers will arise within the churches he has helped to plant and will try to deceive many of them. What he warns them of is still relevant for us today. May God grant us open hearts to hear what the Spirit is saying to us today. In this episode the Apostle Peter describes one of the most dramatic encounters he had with Jesus when he and James and John were taken up a mountain one night by Jesus where they literally heard the voice of God declare that Jesus was the Son of the God! Yet he goes on to say that there is something even more persuasive for anyone — if they would open their hearts and accept it. We now venture into Second Peter which has quite a different tone than First Peter. In this episode we hear the apostle Peter talk about his own impending death and offering his faithfulness as a model for steadfast Christian living. He then offers the 8 qualities of a mature Christian and how these eight qualities should be what every Christian strives for. This is Peter writing to church leaders about the kind of heart and attitude they should have in order to serve a local church. In this episode, we ask the question, Is It God's Will for His Children to Suffer? We look at the 4 types of suffering that Christians can experience and compare them what the Apostle Peter details in this passage. In this episode we explore how the Apostle Peter told these new believers that they no longer belonged to their old way of life and its ways - despite the ridicule they all received from their former friends. Instead, they now belonged to a community of care, love and belonging. There is a very practical implication for us today as to how we are to live as believers and as a local church.

In this episode, based on First Peter chapter 3 and verses 13 to 22, we consider how he told these new Christian that they were to live apologetically - that is, to live in a way that they could answer any questions or respond to any arguments against Christianity.

Peter Christian is a business coach, focused on helping businesses improve their relations and operations by identifying problems based on their root causes. He doesn't simply address symptoms.Peter believes that having a plan is important for getting where you're going in life. The plan doesn't have to have ALL the steps, but you need to have an idea what direction you're heading. This plan is important as you head into retirement too: You need to figure out where you want to be physically (both in your body and location on Earth) - what sort of climate do you want, do you want visitors to reach you easily, how are you going to stay active? You have to be secure financially - the money coming in has to be greater than the money going out.Peter has written a couple of books that outline the life lessons he's learned over his career. You can find both of them, What about the Vermin Problem? and Influences and influencers, on Amazon as well as on his website, https://peterchristianbooks.com.Please reach out to Peter via LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/peter-christian-2723b69/

TitleThe Many Colors of Peter Christian: A Lifetime of Lessons Learned in BusinessDescriptionYou can't be a good crayon without a good story.Show NotesYou can't be a good crayon without a good story."If you can get one person in one company, in one industry to see what somebody's doing in a different one related to themselves, that's always the difficult part as they go, well, you know, I had that even with crayons.Peter Christian is a retired industrial engineer and business consultant who has worked with over 300 companies in a variety of industries. He is also an adjunct faculty professor teaching project management, and is currently writing and publishing his third book. This is Peter Christian's story...In industrial engineering, Peter Christian learned about people and processes, which led him to a career in consulting. He worked with over 300 companies, teaching and helping them solve problems. After he retired, he began writing and speaking about his experiences. He now shares his stories and practical tips for others who need to take new action..In this episode, you will learn the following:1. The complexity of crayon manufacturing2. The importance of understanding and applying business concepts, rather than memorizing formulas3. The personal side of consulting, which is often more important than the technical sideResources:What About the Vermin Problemhttps://www.amazon.com/What-About-Vermin-Problem-Practices/dp/0578737558/ref=sr_1_1?crid=258WAV76AOLV7&keywords=what+about+the+vermin+problem%3F&qid=1654038047&s=books&sprefix=%2Cstripbooks%2C70&sr=1-1Influences and Influencershttps://www.amazon.com/Influences-Influencers-Relationships-Affect-Shape/dp/B08P1JNB71/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1E0CKKWUGL7RX&keywords=influences+and+influencers&qid=1654038127&s=books&sprefix=influences+and+influencers%2Cstripbooks%2C90&sr=1-1Chapter Summaries:undefined[00:00:00] - It's not simple to make a crayon. It was complicated because he had to work with a company that made thousands of different items and get them to people on time. Some industries don't make thousands of items. They make a couple of them or 100, and they think it's a big deal.[00:01:04] - . Peter Christian is a former engineer who retired at the end of 2018 and moved to Florida with his wife. Peter has written two books and is an adjunct professor at Alberni University teaching project management ”i can never stay in the line so I guess I was never cut something I had to do holding a garage I've read a lot of engineering documents and stuff it's a nice sedative the necessary output from an engineer for specific things is intense.[00:07:23] - Industrial engineering is a mix of business and engineering. It's not simple to make a crayon. He has worked with 320 or 340 companies in his lifetime. He used to work with a company that made thousands of different items and had to get them out to people all the time. As a business consultant, you have to teach people how to solve their problems and help them see the story in what they're trying to do. It's not the technical stuff. It's common sense stuff that's hard to teach in the business. It was funny when his son pointed out to him that 90% of what he was doing wasn't in the textbooks.[00:15:17] - In the new Top Gun movie, tom Cruise is teaching a new group of hot shots how to do the F 18. In his classes. He tries not to memorize all the formulas because he wants the students to understand the concept and then apply them.[00:18:19] - Mentoring and teaching is a good way to give back to the younger generations. What he looks for in a good mentee is curiosity, inquisitiveness and ambition. He also looks for someone who doesn't want to take no for an answer and someone who is not afraid to ask questions. In his opinion, young people should be interested in everything. His son went into the army and he trained as a helicopter pilot. After he got done with the training, he was asked to head a maintenance group. He agreed because it was more experience for him and he got to meet more people.[00:25:33] - After writing two books, he was asked to write an article a month for a year on a topic that keeps him awake at night. Now he has 20 different topics that he has written about or on the way to write about. The latest one is fear of losing your job.[00:28:12] - In the 2008 2009 time frame, the mortgage prices and the bank stopped lending and the company stopped using consultants. The company had a decrease in business and it was tying into its line of credit to keep things going. It was like, if we don't start, the company may go belly up.[00:31:08] - Engineer has written three books. The first one is called “what about The Vermin Problem” and The Other Two are called “information“ and “the Good and The Bad” in the first book he talks about companies that he dealt with and individuals that did interesting things on a positive and negative way. In the Second Book, it's about a company that didn't listen to him. If you don't Communicate well, you're probably not going to succeed.[00:36:11] - Peter has written two books. Peter will be following Peter on Medium to follow up on the third book. The Show Notes will put the links to both books down. In the Show Notes, Peter asks Peter and the guys not to keep them up at night or get some sleep.Other episodes you'll enjoy:https://www.spreaker.com/user/12442327/episode-61-jennifer-garretthttps://www.spreaker.com/user/12442327/episode-63-timothy-douglashttps://www.spreaker.com/user/12442327/episode-66-gavin-sequeira Connect with me:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedougthompson/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/The-Doug-Thompson-Podcast-110928150634768YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCz2qwXN-yIHHUiX4Y-e5mwQTwitter: https://twitter.com/thedougthompsonLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/thedougthompson/Loved this episode?
