In the parable of the shrewd manager, Jesus challenges us to be wise and faithful stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us. He teaches that our use of earthly wealth reflects our spiritual priorities, urging us to serve God rather than being enslaved by money. True discipleship requires faithfulness in both small and great matters, reminding us that our ultimate allegiance must always be to God.

Money is a remarkably persuasive false god and it will leave you. The unjust steward, who had been trusting in his master’s money, finally and shrewdly trusts in his master’s generosity. We can be shrewd to use our money - which will fail us - to win friends for heaven because our Master is unusually generous. Truly shrewd stewards are Christians who trust in the generosity of the Lord.

Jesus says your money talks. So what is it saying?
There is an age old theological argument of grace vs law. In the parable of the Shrewd Manager Jesus was speaking directly to the Pharisees about the being good stewards of the things that the Lord has given us to care for. In the end we get the God that we expect and represent. After all we are nothing more than stewards of HIs possessions.
Jesus calls his people to be clever in using earthly goods for kingdom purposes.
Stewardship is caring for someone else's property.
