This week's episode of The Heart Leader Podcast is a deeply profound exploration of what empathy could do to truly change the world. Our guest, Tom Brown, is a highly successful Heart Leader in business and personal life - but for him, the call to improve the world with what he's been gifted went deep. This call led him to understand and become involved in the fight to end human trafficking. This subject can be sensitive, but it's an important one to call into the light and, as Tom reflects, empathy is part of the solution. Tune in as Amber and Tom have a transparent and heartfelt discussion about:▸ how self-empathy can cause us to look at our own lives differently, making it easier to then hold empathy for others ▸ why and how empathy holds any part in a solution for human trafficking ▸ what motivated Tom to go into a warlord operated village to understand the driving causes of human trafficking An episode that will make you think, laugh, cry and feel inspired - - We CAN change our world with empathy, seeking solutions as we explore our humanity together. ------------------ LEARN MORE To learn more about Tom Brown visit: https://northwest-roofing.com/ To learn more about Amber and the Suivera mission, visit Suivera and give us a Like on Facebook To explore more tools from The Heart Leader Program, visit The Heart Leader Toolbox Watch LIVE on Facebook Go to: www.facebook.com/transformationtalkradio

Why do nations, rich and poor, tolerate widespread slavery, human trafficking and even the buying and selling of young children in the 21st century? These abominations exist everywhere and at a scale that makes them one of the largest global criminal enterprises. How is that possible? In this episode of New Thinking for a New World, Alan Stoga explores the darkness of slavery—which consumes even very young children—with India’s Sunitha Krishnan. Sunitha, a past winner of the Tällberg Foundation’s Eliasson Global Leadership Prize, leads a dangerous, discouraging fight to rescue the enslaved and stop the crimes.
Jeff Norman, Human Trafficking Specialist and Advisor from Stop Slavery Today talks about 39 found dead in truck trailer in southeast England
