What is up everyone!  I got a new DADTALK and it's a great one.  I was able to sit down with my father in law, yes my father in law to have a great discussion on being a dad and becoming a grand dad.  We were also able to do a deep dive conversation in the benefits of Meditation; its benefits, how he uses it in his daily life, and how it inspired him to want to be called "Ohmpa" instead of granddad.  We even participated in a guided meditation in the beginning of the episode led by Dr. Sue Morton.  I am glad that we were able to sit down in this space and talk.  It was a wonderful conversation and I know you all will find it wonderful as well.   If you are a dad and would like to share your story here on the podcast you can reach out to me via email at clemenzwithaz@gmail.com or you can DM me at the Clemenz With a "Z" podcast Instagram page.  As always, thank you for your continued support and if you like what you hear please rate and review!  If you don't, just remember, I'm just a channel, I ain't the source.

The Islander News has been covering “The Life and Times of Key Biscayne, Florida” since Nov. 2, 1966, when it was founded by Sue Morton as The Islander Key Biscayne Weekly Bulletin, selling for 15 cents per issue or 50 cents for a monthly subscription. That first issue led with the story, “Key Biscayne is changing,” which detailed new shops and homes on the island, and heralded the impending opening of Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park on the island's southern tip. It announced a Lion's Club lightbulb sale, the Key Biscayne Music and Drama Club's production of Mary Mary, the volunteer fire department's search for more volunteers and a three-bedroom home renting for $225 per month. Today, the newspaper continues to pride itself on being Key Biscayne's most trusted source of local news, and not only telling the Village's stories, but participating in its events and civic life. The Islander looks forward to continuing the share in the progress of the Island Paradise as the community moves into its second 25 years as the Village of Key Biscayne and The Islander marks its second half century of sharing its “life and times.” Key Biscayne Stories info: https://www.keybiscaynestories.com/ Newsletter & more: https://forms.gle/rNCQhURHbJJvSNdA9 Contact: 104 Crandon Boulevard, Suite 301 Key Biscayne, FL 33149 Phone: (305) 361-3333 Email: info@islandernews.com https://www.islandernews.com/

When you have a mental illness you are often faced with the societal stigma of mental health whether you are a man or woman. What statistics tell us though, is that men are more likely to suffer in SILENCE with mental illness because of the worldly views of how a man should deal with emotions. Inspired by the men I know who are open and honest about their mental health, and the documentary "The Mask We Live In," this podcast talks about the truth surrounding gender stigma with men and mental health. Sue Morton is a Mental Health Writer and Advocate, Mindfulness and Meditation Educator. She has blog contributions to Teen Vogue, The Mighty, Huffington Post, and Psych Central. The interview with Jim Palmer was recorded (length: 51 minutes) on May 23, with the Ringr app. During our conversation, we talk about Jim's new book, Just Say Yes, his coaching business, and the new floating home.  You could say it is a small world when you find out that Jessica Rhodes of InterviewConnections.com, is Jim's daughter. Her colleague, Sue Morton (expert podcast matchmaker, client happiness), reached out to me through the service called PodcastGuests.com. After my personal assistant of X.ai, Amy Ingram (powered by artificial intelligence), got confused about the scheduling of the interview, Jim's wife, Stephanie Palmer, picked up the conversation thread and coordinated the booking. Another tidbit: After the interview, I connected with Jim on LinkedIn and saw that he had studied at the same university (Southern New Hampshire University) as yours truly. Here are some links to books, resources, and sites, mentioned during the first half of the show: Jim Palmer on Twitter @getjimpalmer John Jantsch of Duct Tape Marketing The Referral Engine: Teaching Your Business to Market Itself Just Say Yes: Create Your Dream Business and Live Your Dream Lifestyle Expert Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Finding Your Message, Building a Tribe, and Changing the World Trader Principle - The Ayn Rand Lexicon You will find more show notes on the blog in July, after I am back on track with the backlog of recorded interviews.
