    Not many people realise that India, in spite of being a majority Hindu country, is also the world's 3rd most populous Muslim country (with over 200 million Muslims). Moreover, in spite of dynamic church growth and movements to Christ in some parts of the country, it remains the nation with the largest number of unreached people groups in the world. The Joshua project estimates that 95 out of 100 Indians live in an unreached people group (less than2% Evangelical and less than 5% Christian Adherent). And 3 out of 4 Indians live in frontier unreached people groups (less than 0.1%Christian Adherent, i.e. the most unreached). And the workers there are SO few compared to the numbers in Africa and Latin America. Case numbers have grown year on year since it became a notifiable disease in 2004, peaking at around six and a half thousand in 2023. Syphilis is sometimes described as ‘the great imitator' because it can have so many different presentations. And it can hide away for years before revealing itself in one system of the body or other.     Namaste, Welcome to SAM-VAD (Together In Conversation). In the first week of May 2026, I shared an excerpt titled ‘Control Theory and its Underpinning', which is from the book titled – ‘Human Compatible – AI and the Problem of Control' by Stuart Russell. Russell suggests that we can rebuild AI on a new foundation, according to which machines are designed to be inherently uncertain about the human preferences they are required to satisfy. It also points to this fact – ‘If we use, to achieve our purpose, a mechanical agency with whose operation we cannot interfere effectively…we had better be quite sure that the purpose put into the machine is the purpose which we really desire'. Now, SAM-VAD (Together In Conversation) to the ones paying heed, is where we try to draw your attention to things that matter and the importance of your attention, because, ‘Our life's experience would ultimately amount to whatever we had paid attention to'. Attention: is as fundamental as food; and we go blundering about, seeking ways to assuage the craving, instead of learning how to provide ourselves with what we need, sensibly and calmly. Once our attention is drawn to the mechanism of why and what we give attention to, it is as if a veil has been stripped off and we become freer in our action and choices. And that is our endavour. This week I bring to your attention an excerpt titled – ‘Contingent Convergence and Why Every Moment Matters', which is from the book titled – ‘Fluke' – Chance, Chaos and Why Everything We Do Matters by Brian Klaas. In his book Brian points that Contrary to our instinctive beliefs, cause and effect are never simple and easy to understand: any specific outcome is dependent not only on what appear to be the major events leading up to it, but also on an array of seemingly insignificant, arbitrary, easily overlooked factors, “flukes”—some under our control, but countless others not. Contingent Convergence and Why Every Moment Matters We're often blind to the possible jolts until they happen. We follow routines, the world ticks on day by day, and little changes don't seem to matter. The morning news comes on at seven like clockwork. The commute takes between twenty and twenty-five minutes. From our perspective, the creeps of convergence appear supreme. But then, ever so often, our lives-and our societies-drastically change from the jerks of contingent events. Sometimes, these shifts are the culmination of lots of little changes. They build up over time, until they reach a tipping point, and everything collapses. Other times, seemingly independent individual trajectories become causally interlinked. Imagine a fly buzzing around for hours, exploring empty space, until suddenly it collides with the eye of a motorcyclist, who swerves, crashes and dies. The trajectory of that fly mattered enormously to the life of the motorcyclist, but he was oblivious of the importance of that fly to the trajectory of his life-until it was too late. In that way, we, are often oblivious of how small, contingent changes change our lives and shift our societies. Some are random accidents, such as mutations in DNA. Others are deliberate, but minor, decisions we make. They're happening constantly. We tell ourselves that we're in control of our lives. The truth is that everything is constantly in flux, including ourselves. We live in a world defined by what we might call contingent convergence, which is broadly how change happens. There's order and structure, but the snooze-button effect is real. That leads to an unsettling, but also exhilarating, truth: every moment matters. I'm Coach Luis, and today we're talking about something a lot of people are quietly struggling with… burnout.Not “I'm tired.” Not “work is busy.” I mean that deep, heavy exhaustion that makes everything feel harder than it should. If you've been feeling drained, unfocused, or like you're running on fumes… you're not broken. You're burned out. And today, I want to show you how simple movement, not workouts, not routines, just movement can help you feel human again.SECTION 1: WHAT BURNOUT REALLY IS  Burnout isn't a personality flaw. It's not laziness. It's not a lack of discipline.Burnout is what happens when your body and mind have been in “go mode” for too long without a real chance to recover.Here's what burnout often looks like: You wake up tired, even after sleeping. You feel irritable or numb. Your brain feels foggy. You're doing the bare minimum just to get through the day and things you used to enjoy… don't hit the same anymore.Burnout is your body saying, “I can't keep running at this pace.”And the truth is most people don't realize burnout is a physiological state, not just an emotional one. Your nervous system gets stuck in fight‑or‑flight. Your stress hormones stay elevated. Your brain stops processing things clearly.This is why you can't “think” your way out of burnout.You have to move your way out of it.SECTION 2: WHY MOVEMENT HELPSNow, when I say movement helps burnout, I'm not talking about crushing a workout or pushing yourself harder.I'm talking about movement as a tool to regulate your nervous system.Here's what movement does:1. Movement completes the stress cycle.  When you're stressed, your body prepares for action, heart rate up, muscles tense, breathing shallow.Movement gives your body a way to release that built‑up tension.2. Movement increases oxygen and blood flow to the brain.  That's why even a short walk can clear your mind better than staring at your screen for another hour.3. Movement reconnects you with your body.  Burnout makes you feel disconnected like you're living from the neck up.Movement brings you back into yourself.4. Movement creates micro‑wins.  When work feels overwhelming, small physical wins rebuild confidence and momentum.And here's the key:Movement doesn't have to be intense to be effective.It just has to be intentional.SECTION 3: REFRAMING EXERCISE DURING BURNOUT When you're burned out, the goal is not to get stronger, faster, or leaner. The goal is relief.So let's reframe movement into three simple categories:Restorative movement:Walking, Stretching, Mobility, Slow yoga. This is movement that calms your system.Regulating movement:Light strength training, Cycling, Swimming. This is movement that helps you feel steady and grounded.Expressive movement:Dancing, Shadowboxing, Playing a sport. This is movement that lets emotion move through you.Pick the one your body needs today... not the one you think you “should” do.SECTION 4: 60‑SECOND RESET  Let's do a quick reset together, wherever you are.Sit tall.Unclench your jaw.Drop your shoulders.Place your feet on the ground.Take a slow inhale for 4…And exhale for 6…Roll your shoulders back.Relax your hands.Take one more slow breath... in… and out…That's it. That's your nervous system shifting gears.SECTION 5: LISTENER CHALLENGE Here's your challenge for the week:Five minutes of movement a day. Not to burn calories. Not to “work out.” Just to reset your brain.Walk around the block. Stretch your back. Do 10 squats. Dance to one song. Step outside and breathe.Five minutes. Every day. That's it. Burnout doesn't mean you're weak.It means you've been strong for too long without support.Movement is one of the simplest, most powerful ways to help your body feel safe again.You don't have to fix everything today. Just move a little, your body will meet you halfway.Thank you for taking time out of your day to spend it with me and I really do hope you enjoyed today's Monday morning brew series.     JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking for the latest podcast which drops today April 17!As of this Aries New Moon, which occurred at 4:52 a.m. PT & 7:52 a.m. ET at 27'29” Aries on April 17, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the Iranians have agreed to open the Strait of Hormuz to all traffic.That occurred as there is a huge conglomeration of planets in Aries, from the Moon, Sun, Saturn, Mercury, & Neptune—along with wounded healer & dwarf planet Eris close to both luminaries--& peace-loving Venus waxes toward its exact conjunction to Uranus in Taurus on April 23.This sudden opening of the flow of oil, gas, & commodities out of Iran comes on the heels of yesterday's April 16 announcement of a ceasefire between Israel & Lebanon by President Trump. That was as the Sun exact conjoined Chiron in Aries, Mars in Aries sextiled Pluto in Aquarius, & Mercury in Aries conjoined Neptune in Aries.There is a cautionary tale here, however, which includes the fact that the Israeli ceasefire was announced not by its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu but by Trump. While this is obviously still good news—especially since this announcement has already spurred reports of a fast rise of the world's financial markets—it was unclear if Trump's announcement was his way of coercing Israel into the ceasefire by announcing it to the world before details were actually completed.As per the New York Times: “A 10-day cease-fire went into effect at midnight on Friday morning in Lebanon. The truce pauses fighting between Israeli forces and the militant group Hezbollah, removing a major obstacle to peace talks between the United States and Iran.“Israeli and Lebanese officials had confirmed they would implement the truce, which was first announced by President Trump after a diplomatic push by the U.S. government earlier in the day. Hezbollah acknowledged the cease-fire in a pair of statements on Thursday, but did not directly address whether it would accept the truce, saying its actions would be “based on how developments unfold.”It appears by now that this truce is being honored, which is the reason behind Iran's announcement that it would open the Strait of Hormuz to all traffic, as this ceasefire was a major sticking point behind Iran's closure of the Strait. And it's refusal to reopen this globally important waterway.However, again according to the NY Times earlier today: “One of the main questions in Lebanon on Friday morning was if the cease-fire would hold. NNA, the state news agency, reported traffic jams on roads leading to southern Lebanon, from where many had fled because of Israeli evacuation orders and bombardment. Earlier, the Lebanese army said it had recorded several Israeli violations since the cease-fire went into effect at midnight. The Israeli military did not immediately respond to a request for comment.”WILL THIS CHANGE IN VALUES LAST?The question is whether, by the time the Sun enters Venus-ruled Taurus April 19, just after Mars conjoins Saturn in Aries, this slowdown in hostilities will hold. With Mercury headed for a conjunction to both Saturn & Neptune on April 20, it's hard to tell…The Venus/Uranus conjunction in Taurus on April 23 will occur just before the first quarter crisis in action square of the Leo Moon to the Taurus Sun that day, after which Venus enters Mercury-ruled Gemini late on the 23rd or early the 24th, depending on your time zone…And that will bring us to the Sun's fixed square to Pluto April 25, along with Uranus's reentrance into Mercury-ruled Gemini that day as well for the long term. So, the question by then will be whether or not softer rhetoric prevails as peaceful ceasefire negotiations between warring factions continue. In other words, will the beginning of this Aries New Moon cycle help heal past rifts based on a new set of changed values, or will the lack of clear details sabotage future talks? It's well known that Mars-ruled Aries energy's high side is motivation, ambition, & assertion. So are we birthing a new monthly lunar cycle that, in conjunction with the Sun's movement into Venus-ruled Taurus, which craves serenity.     JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking for the latest podcast which drops today April 10!CAPRICORN MOON SQUARE THE ARIES SUN DEMANDS RESPONSIBLE—NOT RECKLESS—ACTION! We're right now still in the waning stages of the Pisces New Moon monthly lunar cycle which began on March 18. That's until we hit the Aries New Moon, which will occur on April 17 at 27'29” degrees of Aries at 4:52 am PT & 7:52 am ET next Friday, April 17.Between now & then, however, we're dealing still with the mission to grow into feeling greater empathy for our fellow humans. Challenged at the Libra Full Moon on April 1 to release any tendency toward going it alone by shunning the advice or support of allies, this waning third quarter square—known as a “crisis in consciousness”—relates to the tension between acting impulsively & understanding our responsibility to others.Therefore, the Saturn-ruled Capricorn Moon, which represents “the people” in mundane astrology, now demands a stop to the unbridled, impatient, impetuous choices & actions made by the Mars-ruled Aries Sun (the leader) without consideration of the opinions or advice of its partners.The Saturn-ruled Capricorn Moon also archetypally represents of “the judge,” the symbol of wisdom & justice. So, it's now at this third quarter waning lunar “crisis in consciousness” square that people are more consciously judging the consequences--& wisdom--of such a leader's actions. That's because it's now abundantly clear the U.S. acted independently of its NATO allies by waging war with Israel against Iran. And that such actions have proven impulsive, lacked strategic insight or well-defined achievable goals, & did not include not well thought out possible negative consequences. We are now at the point where people are demanding that the U.S. (& Israel by extension, since both are led by leaders who favor violent retribution rather than negotiation) sit down & act more responsibly. Especially since this is in keeping with the current month's lunar cycle's message of empathy.This third quarter square late on April 9/early April 10 was preceded by Mars' entrance into its own sign of Aries on April 9, so let me say a word or two about Mars in Aries. While Mars' entrance into its own sign of Aries increases the risk of impulsive action, it reminds us also of what are the highest & best uses of Mars' energies.And that—given that Mars' positive attributes include motivation, ambition, & assertion—the best use of Mars' energies relate to being motivated to come to the defense of, & protect, those weaker & less able to do so for themselves. Because the choice is always up to us, we can opt for hasty decisions that further our recklessness, or ones that are tempered by realizing negotiation doesn't mean surrender; rather it means the balancing of interests between parties.Given the general theme of the Pisces New Moon monthly lunar cycle as it wanes this week, we might understand that the upcoming Aries New Moon will give us the opportunity to do just that BECAUSE we've not grown those seeds of empathy for our fellow humans into a healthy enough plant by April 17.We'll talk more about that next week. However, right now we can see that this week brings--in addition to Mars entrance into Aries until he moves into Venus-ruled Taurus May 18—a plethora of Aries energy including the Sun, Saturn, Neptune, & Mars. That this will increase as the week goes on to include Mercury's move into Mars-ruled Aries on April 14, which may well create additional bombastic rhetoric for those who are already martially inclined. Implications include those who like to talk a lot—including those in power such as the U.S. Congress, which has a lot to consider as they return from their two-week recess on April 13, just after the Mars/Neptune conjunction in Aries late April 12/early April 13, depending on your time zone.Together, we've got a recipe for potential deceit by those who insist on rhetoric that feeds into what some of us may want to hear, but which lacks actual facts. In short, we're cautioned to be “careful of people who appeal to you through your favorite ideals or delusions and then take you for a ride,” as astrologer Rob Hand describes this aspect in his book “Planets In Transit.”By April 16 when the Sun conjoins wounded healer Chiron in Aries we may begin to see how our actions have wounded others, & how this annual cycle may allow us to promote healing—for both ourselves & othersAlso that day we have Mars in Aries sextiling Pluto in Aquarius, & we may see new plans replace old ones in ways that provide the opportunity for developing a clearer objective. That's probably most likely if we take this sextile's opportunity to engage in negotiations rather than trying to use it as an opportunity to gain more power over our opponents.When Mercury conjoins Neptune in Aries late April 16/early April 17, it will be more important than ever for us to rely on our critical thinking capabilities in order to discern between fact & fiction. While good for creative insights & artistic expressions—especially of the more subtle kind—this aspect a lack of honesty making any kind of negotiations & communication unclear & confusing in nature.That this is what will lead to the Aries New Moon April 17 can be seen also in the fact that there is bound to be a lot of frustration building between now & April 19 when Mars conjoins with Saturn in Aries. That's an aspect that denotes feeling like one is banging one's head against a brick wall.
