People love fishing for trout. They love it so much that we are willing to go to insane lengths to catch them. But what should we make of the fact that much of that experience of fishing for trout is just a facsimile of what it once was… and may actually be bad for the very same fish, that we so love to catch? In order to complete with Amazon and Walmart, Steve and Harry's store has everything. No, no, really everything, and that's not hyperbole... They have hyperbole too, by the way. Five different kinds. Trout Fishing In America sing "Weary Deer." Yes, that's a real name for a musical group.
If Judy Garland married Howdy Doody her name would be Judy Doody. Get it? There are a lot more where that came from. Also, Trout Fishing In America are Steve's guests and they're singing an original, "Boiled Okra And Spinach." Steve sings a song that he wrote after he had a dream (true story). It's called "They Are A Hairy Bunch," and Harry sings his own song, "I Married My Shoe."
Trout Fishing In America are Steve's guests. Nothing to do with fishing, mind you. They hail from Arkansas and are so lovable and fun to hang out with. Great musicians, great songwriters, great sense of humor. They've won so many awards and today, here for you now, they'll be singing "Baby's Got The Car Keys." Lots of you will relate. Harry wants more bananas on the show. Why? Because they're funny. He also reads an essay about the similarities and differences between the banana and the sausage.
Trout Fishing In America are Steve's guests. Trout Fishing was nominated for three Grammys and was named among the Top 100 Most Influential Independent Artists in the past 15 years. They join Harry to sing "All I Want Is A Proper Cup Of Coffee." To hear them is to love them. Steve is going to a Ventriloquists Anonymous meeting to deal with his issues, and boy does he have issues.
