Pastor Femi Paul brought us a timely word during today's Youth Sunday Service titled Count Your Blessings! Drawing from Psalm 103:2 (MSG), we were given a powerful directive: to bless God and ensure we do not forget a single one of His benefits. We learned that the only way to avoid the trap of forgetfulness is to intentionally and carefully count the good things He has done for us. Rather than magnifying problems, needs, or what is missing, the message called us to remember the good things God has done. Using Psalm 103:2–5 (NLT), we were reminded of the breadth of God's favour, from forgiveness and healing to redemption and the renewal of our strength, affirming that youths in God are called to stand out. Gratitude is not passive remembrance but active recognition. The message challenged us to shift our focus from problems and needs to the faithfulness of God. When we count our problems, anxiety grows, but when we count our blessings, faith rises. Drawing from Philippians 4:6–7, we were reminded that thanksgiving brings peace, and thanksgiving also positions us for increase. Pastor prophetically declared that as we count only our blessings for the rest of April, God will multiply those blessings in May. The charge was simple and powerful: remember what God has done, and expect Him to do more and more. Confession: I choose to bless the Lord with all that I am. I refuse to forget His benefits. I will count my blessings daily, focusing on His goodness, mercy, and healing power. As I celebrate what He has already done, I position myself for multiplication and fresh manifestations in May.
At our Special Interactive Youth Service, Pastor Femi Paul delivered a timely message titled The Story of Your Life, anchored in Psalm 32:3–8. We were reminded that God is not a distant observer but an active guide in our journey. He declares Himself our hiding place from every storm of life and promises not merely to watch our struggles, but to watch our progress. This distinction is powerful. God did not commit to monitoring our efforts alone; He guaranteed progress. Our advancement is supervised and secured by Him. The message further emphasised divine covering and divine direction. From financial, career, medical, relational, and marital storms, God remains our refuge. He surrounds us with songs of victory over attacks, plots, schemes, and betrayals. More importantly, He promises to guide us along the best pathway for our lives - a pathway of elevation, promotion, prosperity, and fulfillment. The best pathway is divine vantage positioning. When God leads your story, loss is not final and defeat is not permanent. With Him, progress is guaranteed. Confession: My progress is guaranteed by God. He guides me on the best pathway for my life.
It was an inspiring Youth Sunday at Grace Assembly, and Pastor Femi Paul delivered a life-defining word titled “Now, It's Up to You!” a reminder that God has done His part; the next move is ours. Drawing from Job 22:21–28, PFP showed that God's blessings, restoration, and peace are set in motion when we decide to “acquaint ourselves with Him” and take His Word to heart. True transformation begins with a decision to align with God's plan - not waiting for change, but becoming the change through obedience, prayer, and faith. He explained that life's outcomes are often determined not by circumstances but by our choices. “You'll decide what you want, and it will happen!” (Job 22:26 MSG). God rebuilds and restores those who return to Him wholeheartedly. When we choose to surrender, to “clean house of everything evil,” and to live by His Word, light shines on our path, prayers are answered, and divine favour follows. PFP concluded with a powerful charge “The decision is yours!” urging everyone, especially the youth, to take responsibility for their walk with God and boldly shape their destiny through right choices. Prayer/Confession Point: Lord, I choose You today and every day. I surrender to Your Word, Your will, and Your ways. As I align with You, let light shine on my path, let my prayers be answered, and let my life reflect Your glory. Amen.
At today's Youth Sunday Service, Pastor Femi Paul delivered a timely exhortation titled “The Blessing of Always Knowing What to Do.” Speaking directly to the youth and extending the charge to the entire church, he emphasised that divine guidance is one of the greatest blessings a believer can have. Drawing from Proverbs 3:6, he reminded us that when we acknowledge God in all our ways, He promises to direct our paths and show us the right way to go. PFP encouraged the congregation not to be shaken by life's taunts and discouragements, as reflected in Psalm 42:10–11. Instead, he urged us to expect God to act, because our help and confidence are anchored in Him. Citing 1 Samuel 30:8, he highlighted David's example of inquiring of the Lord before taking action, which led to total recovery. He stressed that wisdom, clarity, and victory always follow when we seek God first. This message reminded us that walking with God positions us for direction, recovery, and breakthroughs. Indeed, the blessing of always knowing what to do keeps us ahead in life's battles and ensures we never walk in confusion but in divine clarity.
Today at our Youth Sunday Service, Pastor Femi Paul delivered a powerful word titled “This is Jacob!” Drawing from Psalm 24, he reminded us that those who seek God's face are marked for blessing, righteousness, and divine help. This generation of God seekers are the ones who, despite challenges, experience transformation and victory because God is with them. The message highlighted the significance of Jacob — once known for weakness and failure, but later renamed and restored by God. Pastor Femi stirred the church with a call: “Are there Jacobs in the house?” reminding us that even with a broken past, God can rewrite our story and place a new name in glory.
At today's Youth Sunday Service, our Senior Pastor, Pastor Femi Paul, delivered a thought-provoking exhortation titled “WHY?” Drawing from Judges 6:13, he unpacked Gideon's honest question to the angel of the Lord: “If the Lord is with us, why are we facing so much trouble?” This powerful moment reflects the heart cry of many young people who grapple with life's challenges despite their faith. Pastor Femi reminded us that God is not afraid of our questions, and that such honesty can be the beginning of something divine. He emphasised that asking “Why?” is not a sign of doubt or weakness, but often a gateway to deeper understanding, divine encounter, and purpose. Like Gideon, those who question in sincerity are often the very ones God chooses to raise up. In our honest questions, God births strength, clarity, and a renewed sense of calling. The message was both a comfort and a challenge - an invitation to embrace our questions and trust that God is working, even in the “why.” Scripture Reference: Judges 6:13
INTERNATIONAL YOUTH SUNDAY SERVICE | PROPHET SHEPHERD BUSHIRI
At our vibrant Youth Sunday Service, Pastor Femi Paul brought us a rousing word titled “In Spite of It All!” A message of hope, resilience, and divine destiny. He anchored the message on Job 8:7 (NKJV), reminding us that no matter how small or humble the beginning, God has promised a future that is prosperous, successful, and extraordinary. Using the story of Gideon (Judges 7:4–7 NKJV), we saw how God does not need a crowd to bring victory. He just needs the right few. PFP also highlighted Jesus (John 6:42 NLT), whose background did not match the magnitude of His divine calling. The world may have questioned His origin, but purpose prevailed. Jesus is the ultimate template for our youth, destined to rise and shine in spite of limitations, labels, or humble beginnings. Pastor ended with a prophetic declaration from Job 8:7 in multiple versions, praying that: - Your humble beginning will give way to abundant increase (NKJV) - Your past will be eclipsed by a brighter, extraordinary future (CEV, CEB) - You will become very great and successful according to God's plan
At today's Youth Sunday Service, Pastor Femi Paul delivered a powerful message on "All-Round Success." Drawing from Ecclesiastes 12:12-14, he emphasised that true success is rooted in fearing God and obeying His commands, as everything we do will ultimately be judged by Him. He further highlighted Ecclesiastes 3:14, reminding us that whatever God establishes is permanent - nothing can be added or taken away.

Welcome to our Youth Sunday morning worship service! Today, Bishop Alfred Jackson ministers from the topic, "Giving More to Receive More." Focal Scripture: Mark 4:24
This recording is from the Youth Sunday Service held at Greenfield Presbyterian Church in Berkley, MI and is a joint service by the STAGE Youth Group which include youth from Greenfield, Drayton, Starr, First Royal Oak Presbyterian Churches, and Cana Lutheran Church. There are two scripture readings and two sermonettes in this service. First Scripture Reading is Matthew 5:38-48 Law of retaliation 38 “You have heard that it was said, An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. 39 But I say to you that you must not oppose those who want to hurt you. If people slap you on your right cheek, you must turn the left cheek to them as well. 40 When they wish to haul you to court and take your shirt, let them have your coat too. 41 When they force you to go one mile, go with them two. 42 Give to those who ask, and don't refuse those who wish to borrow from you. Law of love 43 “You have heard that it was said, You must love your neighbor and hate your enemy. 44 But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who harass you 45 so that you will be acting as children of your Father who is in heaven. He makes the sun rise on both the evil and the good and sends rain on both the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love only those who love you, what reward do you have? Don't even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet only your brothers and sisters, what more are you doing? Don't even the Gentiles do the same? 48 Therefore, just as your heavenly Father is complete in showing love to everyone, so also you must be complete. The Second Reading is Isaiah 58:6-12 6 Isn't this the fast I choose: releasing wicked restraints, untying the ropes of a yoke, setting free the mistreated, and breaking every yoke? 7 Isn't it sharing your bread with the hungry and bringing the homeless poor into your house, covering the naked when you see them, and not hiding from your own family? 8 Then your light will break out like the dawn, and you will be healed quickly. Your own righteousness will walk before you, and the Lord's glory will be your rear guard. 9 Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and God will say, “I'm here.” If you remove the yoke from among you, the finger-pointing, the wicked speech; 10 if you open your heart to the hungry, and provide abundantly for those who are afflicted, your light will shine in the darkness, and your gloom will be like the noon. 11 The Lord will guide you continually and provide for you, even in parched places. He will rescue your bones. You will be like a watered garden, like a spring of water that won't run dry. 12 They will rebuild ancient ruins on your account; the foundations of generations past you will restore. You will be called Mender of Broken Walls, Restorer of Livable Streets.
