Today I thought I was going to get this drama, thriller, crime thing when I sat down and watched the new Matt Damon movie Stillwater. What I got was....not that.

Today's movie is the incredibly complex and beautiful The Green Knight. It will absolutely sound like I didn't love it but that's just because I am still trying to understand it.

I'm gonna put the same amount of energy into this description that they put into coming up with an original way to tell the Jungle Cruise story. Today I watched Jungle Cruise.

Well M. Night Shamalan is back at it again. At this point you know what the deal is but that doesn't mean I get to not watch it.

Okay so part of me wants to undersell Pig to you and just say it's the story of Nicolas Cage searching for his lost truffle pig but that really undersells the whole movie and this movie deserves more than that. It's dark, tense, funny and heartbreaking all at once and Nicolas Cage's best acting in YEARS.

Well this week I escaped the doldrums of life into the theaters to see Escape Room 2. A sequel to one of my favorite movies from 2019. Does this live up to my own internal hype or does it fall short like so many sequels of the past?

Well Disney finally gave us a Black Widow movie and then they were FINALLY able to release it. Which then led to me FINALLY getting to watch it. And now you can finally listen to my review. Finally.

Nobody is one of the most fun and interesting action movies I've seen in a long time and I struggle to find ways to describe it as evidence by this episode. But I do.

You know those movies that get made entirely on the charisma of the two leads? And then that works and so they make a sequel with even more talented people that don't have the same chemistry or charisma of the first two people and since they sunk almost all of their budget into the cast everything somehow looks cheaper than the first one? Yeah that's this movie.

Today I decided to jump at the opportunity to watch one of my favorite movies in the theater for the first time and go see 1986's Top Gun in AMC's Dolby theater. This is me talking about that experience.

And now for part two of my Netflix originals double feature - Army of the Dead. And much like a zombie it's a bloated mess that should be shot in the head.

Today I sat down and soaked up two Netflix exclusive movies and the first one you get to hear about is the Mitchells vs the Machines! It's a fun romp and new feel to what could be a tired trope and some of the most beautiful animation I've seen in awhile.
