However, I didn't realize that Vocal requires a subscription in order to enter their contests. So now it's a story for you! This is a Post Apocalyptic story that is less than 2000 words long with one requirement. It had to include a locket. I decided to make something that is only relevant for this time. After photographing each one, I then started to think about where they came from and what their little lives were like. In Macrodiae, the wars between the gene-edited Macrodiae who look like giant kangaroos, and humans have ended. The Super Massive ships, the SM's, have been refit and repurposed for space exploration. To ensure cooperation between humans and Macrodiae, politicians have agreed to a compromise. Young, valuable officers have been traded to work within each other's space navies. Captain Ak spent a long time working her way through the Humanoid military until now, she has been given the command of the first human starship to set sail for what everyone hopes will lead to alliances with new and unknown alien civilizations. This story is about a meeting between Captain Ak, and a very special little boy who is captured by a scenario none of us ever want to face. This is a story of one of the main characters of Macrodiae. A novel set in the future, where humanity has just ended the wars with the created Macrodiae race. Macrodiae is not a book of the wars themselves, but rather the stories of those who move on from the wars and what they find as they explore outward from their own known space. In this short story, I introduce you to Engineer Ruie Bythe. Her early formative years are extremely important in understanding her actions later on as she becomes an adult and a trusted part of the SM-3's crew. In this stream, I was specifically asked about the current books that I was reading. I must admit, I gave a lackluster answer. Me, the queen of description can't talk about books I read, yet I can navigate my way through complicated scientific papers describing immunity, microgravity experiments, or genetic shifts in wheat. I don't think this is a problem in my expression, but rather my emotions while actively speaking. The best thing for me to do in this case, is to go back and try it again. Inevitably I do get better at it. So I will make you this promise. The next Valheim stream, I will go back to the subject and describe the books I am reading in much more detail than just "It's a good fantasy." For now, come and join me in Dragons & Red Shirts where I give you a look in at my writing by playing games and then writing about what happens during that game. Writers also need to challenge their own views and ways of thinking, much as scientists do. This gives us "the whole picture" as it were. So this week the story is a little different. You've been looking at Valheim from one viewpoint, but what if you saw it just a bit differently? Can I convince you that this vision is just as valid? It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. As is all too common in writing of course, I just couldn't fit everything into this episode because I don't want these to be too long. Things I left out? For two days we did just that in San Diego. Richard has been portrayed in the press as an irresponsible playboy and he is also rumored to be planning to abdicate. Amber hopes her work in Aldovia will lead to a big break and she heads to the royal family's palace for the press conference, but the prince fails to appear. Welcome to episode #74 of ‘Beery Good Entertainment’. Lola and Linda discuss the Dec 10th Jersey City shooting. 6 killed including 1 officer. Detective Seals approached the shooters at a cemetery where he was shot. The shooters then fled to a kosher market where they traded gunfire with officers and struck bystanders for about 15 minutes. Three people in the market were killed as well as two shooters and Detective Seals. By late Tuesday Mayor Steven Fulop said that officials believed the shooters targeted the market but did not reveal an explanation.
