A daily show to lead Catholic moms to the Holy Spirit with Sterling Jaquith.
The Catholic Mom Mindset podcast is an absolutely excellent resource for Catholic moms seeking guidance and encouragement in their daily lives. Sterling, the host of the podcast, takes the truths and theology of our faith and shows listeners how to live them out in practical ways. This podcast is consistently at the top of my playlist, alongside other popular Catholic podcasts like Father Mike Schmitz and Bishop Barron.
One of the best aspects of The Catholic Mom Mindset podcast is its ability to provide actionable advice on how to live out one's faith as a wife and mother. Sterling addresses common struggles that many women face, such as being patient with kids, appreciating one's spouse, or finding gratitude in daily life. She not only acknowledges these desires but provides concrete strategies on how to actually achieve them. Her insights are relatable and applicable to everyday situations, making it easy for listeners to implement positive change in their lives.
Another great aspect of this podcast is Sterling's heartfelt prayers and meaningful reflections. Her prayers are filled with sincerity and bring comfort and solace to listeners. She offers tangible insight that can be applied to daily life, causing listeners to ponder and reflect on her nuggets of wisdom throughout the day. The episodes are short but impactful, making each episode feel like a mini retreat that leaves you feeling inspired and uplifted.
If there were any criticism to be made about The Catholic Mom Mindset podcast, it would be that there aren't enough episodes released regularly. As a listener who eagerly looks forward to each new episode, it can be disappointing when there is a gap between releases. However, this minor drawback does not take away from the high quality and value that each episode provides.
In conclusion, The Catholic Mom Mindset podcast is an invaluable resource for Catholic Christian moms seeking guidance and encouragement in their daily lives. Sterling's ability to provide practical advice on living out one's faith paired with her heartfelt prayers make this podcast truly exceptional. The impact that this podcast has had on the lives of listeners is evident in the reviews and testimonials given. I highly recommend this podcast to any Catholic mom looking to deepen their faith and find practical strategies for living out their vocation as a wife and mother.

For May, we're diving into Searching for and Maintaining Peace by Fr. Jacques Phillipe. It is that the Christian lif eis a combat, a ware without mercy. It must be viewed as the scene of constant and sometimes painful battle, which will not end until death - a struggle against evil, temptation and the sin that is in him. It is the combat of one who struglges with the absolute certitude that the victory is already won, because the Lord is ressurected. The believer, throughout the entire battle, whatever the degree of violence, will strive to maintain peace of heart in order to allow the God of Armies to fight for him. Additionally, he must realize that this interior peace is not only a condition for spiritual combat, but is quite often the goal itself. Very frequently, spirtual combat consists pecisely in this: defenidng one's peace of heart against the enemy who attempts to steal it from us. The devil does his utmost to banish peace from one's heart, because he knwos that God abides in peace and it si in peace that He accmoplishes great things. It is well to keep this in mind, because, quite often in the daily unfolding of our Christian life it happens that we fight the wrong battle. We fight on terrain where the devil subtly drag us and can vanquish us, instead of fighting on the real battlefield, where, onthe contrary, by the grace of God, we are always certain of victory.
For May, we're diving into Searching for and Maintaining Peace by Fr. Jacques Phillipe. God is a God of peace. He does not speak and does not operate except in peace, not in trouble and agitation. Let us remember the experience fo the prophet Elijah of Horeb: God was not in the hurricane, nore the earthquake, nor in the fire, but in the whsiper of a gentle breeze. It is an invitation to act, even to act considerably sometimes, but under the impulse of the Holy Spirit, which is a gentle and peaceful spirit. Only one who possesses this interior peace can efficaciously help his neighbor. "Acquire interior peace and a multitude will find its salvation through you," said Saint Seraphim of Sarov.
For May, we're diving into Searching for and Maintaining Peace by Fr. Jacques Phillipe. All the good that we can do comes from God and from him alone: Apart from Me, you can do nothing, Jesus said (John 15:5). God would spare us from trials but they are necessary in order that we should be convinced of our complete powerlessness to do good by ourselves. We must try to discover the disposition of our soul, the profound attitude of our heart and spiritual conditions that permit God to act in us. What must we do in order to let the grace of God act freely in our lives? If our soul is agitated and troubled, the grace of God is able to act only with much greater difficulty.
