She joins Father today to discuss the book “Live & Learn the Liturgical Year Planner 2026. Alice introduces and shares the details of this wonderful resource to help you live the catholic life and maintain your domestic church. Domestic church is basically your home church; this concept, which dates back to the early Church, views the home as the primary place where faith is lived, learned, and passed on through prayer, love, and practice. In this final part of our three-part series, I'm diving into the struggle that every single homeschooling mom deals with: your own fears, anxieties, and the sneaky belief that you are not enough. I'm unpacking, what I call, the Litany of Not Enough that so many of us carry every day, how it's impacting your relationships, and your homeschooling, and why doing more will never heal it. Today, I'm talking about what it really means to live in Right Order and giving you several key shifts to make that you can implement today to calm your heart and lean into this beautiful vocation of motherhood and homeschooling that God has called you to. This final episode in this three-part series is like a mini-retreat and masterclass for your mama's heart, your mindset, and learning how to rest into this vocation with trust, surrender, hope, and grace all wrapped up into one. If you've ever felt inadequate, overwhelmed, or exhausted by trying to be enough, then grab your earbuds and join me for: A Catholic Homeschool Mom's Guide to Putting Your Life in Right Order, Part 3: Your Mama's Heart and the Litany of Not Enough Take advantage of the Annual Membership Sale HERE before midnight on December 31, 2025!
Today is day 356 and we are studying The Tenth Commandment. 356. How can you keep this commandment? I can keep this commandment by learning contentment: seeking first the kingdom of God, meditating on God's provision in creation and in my life, cultivating gratitude for what I have and simplicity in what I want, and practicing joyful generosity toward others. (Exodus 35:20–29; 36:2–5; Psalms 104; 145:15–21; Ecclesiastes 5:10; 2 Corinthians 9:6–15; 1 Timothy 6:6–10; Hebrews 13:5) We will conclude today by praying Prayer 116.A Litany of Thanksgivings found on page 680 of the Book of Common Prayer (2019). Morning Prayer and the Litany (The Fourth Sunday in Advent 2025) from Trinity Anglican Church (Connersville, IN)37 He brought his servants forth, enriched with Egypt's borrowed wealth; And, what transcends all treasures else, enriched with vig'rous health. 38 Egypt rejoiced, in hopes to find her plagues with them removed; Taught dearly now to fear worse ills by those already proved. 39 Their shrouding canopy by day a journeying cloud was spread; A fiery pillar all the night the desert marches led. 40 They longed for flesh; with ev'ning quails he furnished ev'ry tent; From heav'n's own granary, each morn, the bread of angels sent. 41 He smote the rock, whose flinty breast poured forth a gushing tide; Whose flowing streams, where'er they marched, the desert's drought supplied. 42 For still he did on Abr'am's faith an ancient league reflect; 43 He brought his people forth with joy, with triumph his elect. 44 Quite rooting out their heathen foes from Canaan's fertile soil, To them in cheap possession gave the knit of others' toil. 45 That they his statutes might observe, his sacred laws obey; For benefits so vast let us our songs of praise repay.

Who? The Lord for strength renowned; In battle mighty, o'er his foes eternal victor crowned. 9 Erect your heads, ye gates, unfold in state to entertain The King of glory; see, he comes with all his shining train. 10 Who is this King of glory? who? Guest Pastor, Drew Witt, walks through Psalm 131 as a psalm of quiet trust. He shows how it cuts away selfish ambition, exposes the things we use to soothe a restless heart, and leads us toward steady hope in the Lord. With Luke 14, Luke 12, and Philippians 2, he explains the difference between ambition and godly aspiration and points us to Jesus, who chose the lower place for us.The message closes with two simple prayers—the Jesus Prayer and the Litany of Humility—to help shape daily dependence on Christ.More from Trinity Bible Church: https://trinitybible.com
Daily Morning Prayer and the Litany (11/21/25) from Trinity Anglican Church (Connersville, IN): Psalm 105; Baruch 4; John 13; Metrical Psalm 22:25-2825 Thus in thy sacred courts will I my cheerful thanks express; In presence of thy saints perform the vows of my distress. 26 The meek companions of my grief shall find my table spread; And all that seek the Lord shall be with joys immortal fed. 27 Then shall the glad converted world to God their homage pay; And scattered nations of the earth one sov'reign Lord obey. 28 'Tis his supreme prerogative o'er subject kings to reign; 'Tis just that he should rule the world, who does the world sustain. To read along, visit: https://ie.dailyoffice1662.com/To sing along with the Brady and Tate Metrical Psalter, visit: https://www.friendsofsabbath.org/cgmusic.com/workshop/newver_frame.htmTo own a Bible, visit: https://www.thomasnelsonbibles.com/product/kjv-center-column-reference-bible-with-apocrypha/To own a prayer book, visit: https://anglicanway.org/product/the-1662-book-of-common-prayer-international-edition-hardcover-march-2-2021/To own a hymnal, visit: https://anglicanhousepublishers.org/shop/the-book-of-common-praise-of-the-reformed-episcopal-church/
Daily Morning Prayer and the Litany (11/19/25) from Trinity Anglican Church (Connersville, IN): Psalms 95-97; Ecclesiasticus 51; John 11; Metrical Psalm 22:9-139 Thou mad'st my teeming mother's womb a living offspring bear; When but a suckling at the breast I was thy early care. 10 Thou, guardian-like, didst shield from wrongs my helpless infant days; And since hast been my God and guide through life's bewildered ways. 11 Withdraw not then so far from me, when trouble is so nigh; O send me help! thy help, on which I only can rely. 12 High pampered bulls, a frowning herd, from Basan's forest met, With strength proportioned to their rage, have me around beset. 13 They gape on me, and ev'ry mouth a yawning grave appears; The desert lion's savage roar less dreadful is than theirs.

November 8th, 2025 - This week the Vatican's Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith issued a document addressing titles of Our Lady such as "co-redemptrix" and "mediatrix." Description Today is a unique episode. I wanna share a talk that I gave from the SEEK 2025 conference, an Impact Session, during those days in Salt Lake City. The Grace of Praise? We don't often think of it that way, that the church in her Scriptures and in particular in her liturgy, remind us, of course, that we have a command, a duty to praise the Lord, but why? Is it good for God? Well, the liturgy kind of answers that question, and I share that today. I'll leave that as a little bit of a cliffhanger. It's good for us. And in this talk today, I share three ways that praise is God's gift to us and for our lives.Big shout out of thanks to FOCUS and the SEEK team for allowing me to republish this talk on my podcast feed. Please go check out all of the talks from Seek and other podcasts and videos and YouTube sorts of things from focus on seekreplay.com. The other thing to note is that at the end of the talk I allude to a Litany of Praise, and this was a Litany of Praise that I wrote and that I'd love to share with you. Most of us would love to grow in this gift of praise. We just don't have the vocabulary always, or the repetition or even the impetus or the encouragement to do it. Today would be that day. Praise is one of God's greatest gifts to you.- SEEK Replay - seekreplay.com- Litany of Praise - Get it here!LinksFor more information about the Better Preach Podcast visit: www.ryanohara.org/betterpreachBetter Preach Podcast is now on YouTube. Merriam-Webster's Word of the Day for October 23, 2025 is: litany LIT-uh-nee noun Litany usually refers to a long list of complaints, problems, etc. It can also refer to a sizable series or set, a lengthy recitation, a repetitive chant, or a particular kind of call-and-response prayer. // Among the television critic's litany of complaints about the new series is the anachronistic costume design. See the entry > Examples: “Out spilled the litany of all the names of all the things you thought I still feared: A big, bad wolf, a two-headed snake, a balding hyena, a beast dropped from the sky, an earthquake, a devil with red bells around its neck. Your words were steady, steeped in the old stories, but my eyes flicked to the window, unafraid. I was too old for easy monsters.” — Raaza Jamshed, What Kept You?: Fiction, 2025 Did you know? How do we love the word litany? Let us count the ways. We love its original 13th century meaning, still in use today, referring to a call-and-response prayer in which a series of lines are spoken alternately by a leader and a congregation. We love how litany has developed in the intervening centuries three figurative senses, and we love each of these as well: first, a sense meaning “repetitive chant”; next, the “lengthy recitation” sense owing to the repetitious—and sometimes interminable—nature of the original litany; and finally, an even broader sense referring to any sizeable series or set. Though litanies of this third sort tend to be unpleasant, we choose today to think of the loveliness found in the idea of “a litany of sonnets by Elizabeth Barrett Browning.”
