Listen to the gospel preached each week at ECC Lafayette. We exist to know God, follow Jesus, and pursue God's purposes in the world.
UNSTUCK: Freeing ourselves from our fallenness and the brokenness of lives lived ignorant of, or inattentive to, God's presence in the Universe—becoming free enough to thrive in life now and to reign with Christ in the future. We are glad you are joining us!

Jesus invites us to be with him, to become like him, and to do what he did. The late Dallas Willard used to say that we who follow Jesus are to live our lives as Jesus would live them, if he were us. In this miniseries, Practicing the Way of Jesus, we are introducing an ECC Rule of Life and inviting us all to take the next step in our journey of becoming more like Christ in every way. We're glad you can join us!

Welcome to ECC! It's that time of year again. The time when we prepare our hearts to celebrate the birth of Christ by journeying through the Season of Advent together. During Advent, we look back to Christ's First Coming, anticipate his Second Coming, and learn to live life with him as he comes to us each day. Thanks for joining us!
Join us for our Christmas Eve Service. We will offer our praise to God through the celebration of Jesus Christ's birth.

Each year, we invite our children and students to help us remember the Christmas story in creative ways, helping us to hear the stories from scripture with fresh ears as we wait in anticipation to celebrate the birth of our savior. We invite you this morning to hear the story from Luke 1 and 2, and Matthew 2, through this Shadow Nativity Story.

The ECC Touchstones of WELCOME, TRANSFORMATION, and PRESENCE are key to who we are and who we hope to become. From July 30-August 13, 2023, we will be strengthening and deepening our understanding and experience of each of these key values to our mission and vision in the coming years.

For those of us who seek to follow Christ, we can sometimes feel out of place, like we don't belong, or don't always fit in--as if we are exiles, foreigners in strange land. Worse, we can face persecution--as many do in parts of our world today. First Peter is a letter written by the Apostle Peter to several churches who were dealing with just this kind of strangeness. While persecution was not yet full-blown and formal, Christians in his day had to deal with misunderstandings, peer pressure, and the ups and downs of life on a fallen planet in a hostile land. Join us as we seek to hear what Peter had to say to his first readers and how it might apply to us, today.
