This morning, I felt promoted to write a journal entry starting with the phrase... "Choosing My Own Path." After realizing that this prompting was not going to go away, I sat down and began to write whatever came to me. In this episode, I share that full journal entry with you. It is an incredible honor to bring a new series of conversations to the Encouraging Others Through Christ podcast titled "EOTC Mystery School." The EOTC Mystery School is a brand new club that I have created on Clubhouse. This special club is dedicated to the advancement of love, service, cooperation, and understanding, in relation to all people of various faith and spiritual backgrounds. The purpose is not that we will always agree with each other's beliefs, but instead, we seek a non-judgmental approach to understanding and appreciating why people believe what they believe. The goal is to share and exchange insights and experiences to broaden our perceptions of our faith/spirituality. In this session my co-panelists are: Michael Sebastien Bethany Dixon Darshpreet Singh Some of the topics that came up on this session are: Sikhism Does God Judge Us? Reincarnation Past Lives Karma Law of Frequency/Vibration Law of Attraction I have other podcasts that might be of interest to you. In my recent times of meditation and prayer, I have felt called to share more of the things that I've been learning about the more "esoteric teachings of Jesus." The word "esoteric" is defined as "intended for or likely to be understood by only a small number of people with a specialized knowledge or interest." It is very clear, that Jesus taught deeper spiritual truths to his close disciples than the messages that he shared publicly. In this episode, I share what came up for me during my time of meditation and journaling. The main emphasis of this episode is on Matthew 10:27 where Jesus said.... "What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs." - NIV Translation Other Scriptural References made in this episode include: Matthew 17:1-13 John 17:21 Mark 1:29-39 John 8:38a John 5:19-20a John 12:49-50 I have other podcasts that might be of interest to you. In this episode, I answer a question from someone who has been listening to the content that I've created about mindset and the use of affirmations. Here is the question, as it was asked…. “My question is a process question for you. I've followed you a little bit. I'm a Bible teacher… Been teaching the Bible all my life. There are many things that you say that resonate with many biblical principles. But the question that I have for you… As I listen, it's like, yeah, okay, fine, great. I can be that at this moment in time. But it is just so easy to be swept away in the current of life and all of a sudden… an hour, two hours, three hours into all this and… I'm like, Holy mackerel, I've got to get my mindset back. What tips, hints or helps do you have in terms of making this an ongoing process? It's just that… It's a continual battle it would seem.” If this question resonates with you, I hope that you'll listen to every work spoken in this episode. By The Way… I have other podcasts that might be of interest to you. This was the second episode in a series that I've done over the past year about the newest season of my faith journey that started about a year ago. In this episode, you'll hear three different pieces of feedback that I had received after having shared with my community what I had shared in the first episode of this faith journey series (see episode 135 of this podcast). I am about to go on a short vacation/business trip to Nashville with my wife Stephanie and will be away for at least a week or so. I plan to share more of this journey with you upon my return. Until then, I hope you enjoy this episode and I invite you to check out some of my other shows... This episodes contains the full, unedited, introduction to a significant new season of my spiritual journey that began about one year ago. At the time, I had considered this podcast (Encouraging Others Through Christ) to be a "discontinued" podcast. However, recently, I have been inspired to revive the Encouraging Others Through Christ podcast. To do that, I wanted to be sure to share what has happened over this past year, specifically on the spiritual side of things. This episode, and likely the next 14 episodes following this, will be content that I had previously recorded, but with fresh new intros and endings. This episode contains what was originally released as episode 218 of my Train With Cliff Audio Program. This episode was titled "The Rabbit Hole of Philosophy" and was originally published on October 7th, 2021. In the show notes of that episode, I wrote... "This episode is likely to get me added to the top of many people's prayer list. ;) I'm just being authentic and transparent about my journey through life. I hope you enjoy." I was right... I did get added to several people's prayer lists. I can't wait to share more with you. Sincerely, In Christ, Cliff
It has been another year since I've recorded an episode of Encouraging Others Through Christ. As I've said before, I only create new episodes of this podcast as I feel led to do so. It's been just over a month since our family decided that we were “Not Going To Go To Church Anymore!” In the past, if I would miss going to church a few weeks in a row, I would feel incredibly guilty and I would see my life's priorities getting all out of whack. However, if […]
