Pour clore l'année en force, j'ai le plaisir de recevoir une athlète hors normes : Sandra Lafontaine. En 2025, elle est devenue la première femme (et la première Canadienne) à compléter le Grand Slam de Destination Trail Races, soit l'Arizona Monster 300, le Tahoe 200, le Bigfoot 200 et le Moab 240 en moins de sept mois. Et en passant, on parle bien de miles, et non pas de kilomètres! Dans l'épisode, Sandra nous raconte son cheminement vers cet exploit monumental. Après une décennie de trail et plusieurs 100 miles complétés (dont quatre finish sur le Bromont Ultra 160 km) elle a découvert la distance de 200 miles en 2024… et ç'a été le coup de foudre instantané. Quelques mois plus tard, elle prend une décision radicale : s'inscrire aux quatre courses du Grand Slam et prendre un congé différé de dix mois pour se consacrer entièrement à ce projet démesuré.
