Darüber spricht Verena Gründel mit Saskia Meier-Andrae, Vice President and General Manager, eBay Germany & Central Europe.

There's an old saying, "out of the frying pan and into the fire." It may be how some of you are feeling about the Book of Amos at this point. So imagine how his original hearers felt. As we come to Amos 5, he presses his same themes with new vehemence. Faithful Israelites looked forward to the Day of the Lord as a day when God would right the wrongs, heal injustices, etc. But Amos warns them that the judgment they yearn to see fall on their enemies will instead fall on them - like a man running from a lion only to meet a bear, resting his hand on the wall only to be bitten by a snake. But this is not Murphy's law or fatalism, Amos actually wants Israel to find genuine healing. He wants them to have a heart like the God they claim. What is that hope? Let's talk about the call to "Seek the Lord and live!" (Amos 5:1-27).

“Send Coach John a message”I found an awesome post because the post had a picture of Jim Rohn on it with one of his many wonderful life lessons. This was shared by Mark C. Crowley (@MarkCCrowley) and his intro to the post was this:  “It's a false dichotomy to think you can't care about your people and drive performance at the time. One doesn't come as a cost to the other.”  He's right on target with this - caring about people helps out in so many ways in business and in life! We see way too many examples of what not caring is. Here are the thoughts from Jim Rohn: “Learn to be strong, but not rude; kind, but not weak; bold, but not a bully; thoughtful, but not lazy; humble, but not timid; proud, but not arrogant.”  Wow! What a great formula for living our best life. Of course we can connect other things that lead to a great life - but these are wonderful pieces to add to our life's puzzle! Again, think of the many that are doing, saying, living, etc., the opposite of these gold nuggets.  Keep getting better my friends. Keep striving to live your best life!!  Thanks for listening.  Please take a few moments to subscribe & share this with someone, also leave a 5 Star rating on Apple Podcasts and ITunes or other services where you find this show.  Find me on Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/coachtoexpectsuccess/   on Twitter / “X”:  @coachtosuccess   and on Instagram at:  @coachjohndaly  - My YouTube Channel is at: Coach John Daly.   Email me at: CoachJohnDalyPodcast@gmail.com     You can also head on over to https://www.coachtoexpectsuccess.com/ and get in touch with me there on my homepage along with checking out my Top Book list too.  Other things there on my site are being worked on too.  Please let me know that you are reaching out to me from my podcast.  ** I would appreciate anyone to try clicking on the top of the show notes where it says "Send us a text" to leave a few thoughts / comments / questions.  It's a new feature that I'd like to see how it works. **

Their name is more tongue and cheek than a literal homage to cannabis - instead their mission is to savor the finer things in life. The band's sound blends traditional bluegrass with elements of jazz, R&B, and pop, reflecting a wide spectrum of American folk music. Guitarist Keenan Dorn and bassist Ian Lindsay both agree that bluegrass is more accessible now than ever before, with universal themes of heartbreak and adventure that underscore the music and transcends language and racial barriers. The trio stopped by KHOL to discuss their tour of the Rockies so far, jamming in the parking lot of festivals, and the future of bluegrass to come.

What if the biggest thing holding you back… is something you don’t even realize you believe? In this powerful conversation, Drs. Zach & Tim Clinton are joined by renowned speaker, Bible teacher, and bestselling author Jennie Allen, to talk about her newest book, The Lie You Don’t Know You Believe. Jennie challenges a reality most of us don’t often stop to consider: many of the struggles we face: fear, shame, insecurity, anxiety, etc. are rooted in lies we’ve unknowingly accepted as truth. And until those lies are exposed, we’ll keep circling the same patterns, the same frustrations, and the same sense of being stuck. Together, they unpack how these lies take root, how they quietly shape our identity, relationships, and even our view of God…and most importantly, how to break free. Jennie walks us through what she calls the enemy’s oldest strategy: deception. But this isn’t a conversation about fear, it’s about freedom. Because in Christ, we’ve already been given the authority to tear down those lies and replace them with truth. This episode isn’t about trying harder or modifying behavior. It’s about seeing clearly, thinking differently, and stepping into the freedom that’s already available to you. If you’ve ever felt stuck in the same thoughts, the same struggles, or the same cycles, this conversation will help you identify what’s really going on beneath the surface… and how to finally break free.Links: Visit Jennie’s Website: https://www.jennieallen.com/ Pick Up a Copy of “The Lie You Don’t Know You Believe”: https://shorturl.at/TeC3l Check Out Some Free Worksheets & Book Club Kits from Jennie’s Website: https://www.jennieallen.com/freebies Believing the Lies? In this Conversion Monthly, Danny McMillan is joined by Dorian and Matt Kostan (no Sim this episode — he's on holiday) for a live, practical session on building brand-quality design systems fast and for free. Dorian opens with a tight crash course in the three design fundamentals that separate professional Amazon listings from amateur ones: font pairing, grid and layout, and colour theory. He then demos Google Stitch live, building a full design system from a wooden utensil listing in real time. Danny shows a more automated route — using Perplexity to control Stitch autonomously and generate a complete brand kit from just a product title, bullet points, and a reference image. Matt rounds it off with a live Product Pinion split test of the new designs against the original listing — and the results deliver the session's sharpest lesson. The big takeaway: pretty is not enough. Information + design working together is what converts. Google Stitch is the best free tool right now for design mockups — unlike image generators (Gemini, GPT), Stitch understands design principles and generates layout-aware mockups you can iterate on. Pretty does not convert on its own — the live test showed the original, information-heavy image outperforming the cleaner redesigns early. Design is a layer on top of strong product information, not a replacement for it. Perplexity can run Stitch autonomously — paste a product title, bullet points, and a reference image; let it loop through Stitch without touching anything; come back to a full brand kit. You can test design variations with 50 real shoppers in under 10 minutes — Product Pinion lets you run image split tests with category-targeted shoppers, get qualitative feedback, and iterate the same day. Nano Banana outputs in Stitch cannot be regenerated — switch to one of the standard models if you need variation or refinement controls. AI gets you to the concept stage fast — use Stitch to generate the direction, then hand to a designer for finishing. Revision cycles and meetings shrink dramatically. Notable Quotes "If everything is important, nothing really is." — Dorian "The hardest thing is to make something simple, elegant, and something that people get instantly." — Dorian "Pretty is one thing, but the information has to be there. I didn't put the information there — and it's not doing well." — Dorian (on live split test results) "Most people don't necessarily know good design, but they know what they like. It's more of a feel — they go, that looks a bit cheap, or that looks really good." — Danny McMillan "It's never been easier and faster to become a world-class brand on design. Plug in your details, get a design guide going, and you can really up your brand in a very short period of time." — Matt Kostan "The breakout brands from the Amazon community — we haven't had enough of them crossing over. Now that gap's closed." — Danny McMillan Resources Mentioned Google Stitch — Free AI design tool; generates brand guidelines, font pairings, mockups, A+ content concepts, and layout variations. Up to 3,000 generations per day (free) Figma — Design tool used by Dorian to pull Stitch outputs and refine layouts manually Adobe Color (color.adobe.com) — Colour palette exploration and complementary colour tool; used in the live demo for the wood/blue beach-forest palette Coolers.co — Free colour palette generator with AI colour bot and real-world visualiser Pinterest — Recommended for browsing font pairing inspiration Nano Banana 2 — Image generation model available inside Stitch; note: regeneration/variation controls don't work on Nano Banana outputs Perplexity — Used to autonomously control Google Stitch via browser automation, building a full brand kit end-to-end from a single prompt Product Pinion — Consumer research and split testing tool by Matt Kostan; image tests with real shoppers, category targeting, results in minutes. Product Pinion API + Claude integration in development. Guest Info Dorian — Design and conversion specialist, Seller Sessions Conversion Monthly co-host Matt Kostan — Founder of Product Pinion, consumer research and split testing for Amazon sellers

I've had a lot of conversations on this show, but this one with Pete Holmes hit me in a completely different way. I brought Pete on because I think he's one of the funniest people on the planet. But what I discovered sitting across from him is that behind the comedy is a level of depth, awareness, and truth that most people never tap into. This conversation is about success, yes. But it is also about life, presence, and what really matters when it's all said and done. We got into what it really takes to get great at something. Pete broke down a concept that applies to every single one of you, whether you are in business, sales, parenting, or leadership. Do not compare your chapter one to someone else's chapter ten. Early on, he focused on simply being one of the best in the room he was in. That mindset alone will change how you approach growth. It is not about being the best in the world right away. It is about winning where you are, stacking small victories, and building confidence one step at a time. But where this conversation really took a turn was when we started talking about presence and awareness. Pete shared something that stuck with me deeply. He said most of us are living for the next moment instead of the one we are in. That hit me hard because I have lived that way for a long time. Always chasing the next thing, the next win, the next level. And what you will hear in this episode is a reminder that this moment right now is your life. Not the next one. Not the one after that. This one. We also went deep into belief, faith, and purpose. Pete has this incredible perspective on God and awareness that challenges you to think differently. Whether you are religious or not, what he shares will stretch your thinking. He talks about how we are all connected, how we belong to each other, and how much of life is about remembering that truth. It is one of the most powerful and thought-provoking conversations I have had in a long time. And then we brought it back to something practical that every high achiever needs to hear. At some point, you have to audit your dream. You have to ask yourself if what you are chasing is still what you want. Pete made a decision to prioritize his family and his life over constant hustle, and it has made him better at what he does. That takes courage. Real courage. This episode is going to challenge how you think about success, fulfillment, and the life you are building. Key Takeaways: Why comparing your beginning to someone else's success is killing your growth The power of being fully present and why this moment is your life How to evaluate your progress based on your current environment A new way to think about God, awareness, and human connection Why high achievers must audit their dreams and redefine success over time How balance and intentional living can actually make you better at your craft

How much of your life is truly yours, and how much is just a script handed down by society, parents, or your career? In this episode, author Dion Elliot Jansen joins the podcast to discuss his first book, Conscious Footsteps. Dion shares his deeply personal journey through a "tumultuous" series of life changes—including the "death of the ego" after losing a corporate career he had built his entire identity around. We explore what it means to stop "reading from the script," how to recognize the masks we wear, and the power of walking as a practice for reflection and healing. Whether you are navigating professional burnout, personal loss, or simply feel disconnected from your inner voice, this conversation offers a grounded perspective on living with presence and purpose. Key Topics Discussed: ·         The Accidental Author: Why Dion started writing in diaries as a cathartic way to process emotions before it ever became a book. ·         Death of an Ego: Navigating the traumatic experience of being fired and realizing that your job title is not your identity. ·         Recognizing the "Scripts": How religion, news, and parentage program us to live a certain way, and how to consciously choose a new path. ·         Fear and Anxiety: Understanding how fear is rooted in the past (memories) and anxiety is rooted in the future, often at the expense of our present state. ·         The Power of Walking: Dion's unique approach to writing the book in a series of "walks" intended to be read while moving through nature. ·         Success Beyond Money: Challenging the societal link between success and financial output to find a more purposeful life.
