John 3:16 may be the most famous and possibly most popular verse in the Holy Bible. It is also the most profound in terms of God's dealings with humanity. It puts all of God's actions into perspective. We encourage you to join us as we experience God's love as seen in the Biblical narrative. We hope that you will love Him as He loves you.

Hello there,"If you tried to describe what God is like, it could be difficult or daunting. But when the people who wrote the Bible pondered the mystery of God, they consistently described God’s character in this way: compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, overflowing with loyal love and faithfulness as recorded in Exodus 34:6.We’re going to look at this fourth phrase, loyal love. It translates the Hebrew word khesed, which is hard to translate into any language because it combines the ideas of love, generosity, and enduring commitment all into one. Khesed describes an act of promise-keeping loyalty that is motivated by deep personal care."This is taken from the script of episode 5 on the Character of God series made the Bible Project.Today, a controversy arose where Jesus' disciples were now being accused of breaking the Sabbath by plucking grain heads. Hello there,Consider this: a father is going on a trip and leaves his son in charge of his farm. The hired hands really love the father but do not fancy the son too much. So, they decide to do no work until the father comes back. The son appeals vehemently but the hired hands are also vehement in their refusal to work. When the father comes back, everything is well. When the father looks at the people working, he realizes that they are all freshly hired hands. When he enquires why, the son says, "These that you left refused to listen to me because they could only listen to you. So, I went out and hired other hands. And these have listened to me, doing all I have said, waiting to meet you." The son asks, "Father, who is loyal? These that have listened or they that have not?" The father looks at him and then looks at both groups of hired hands. His eyes dwell on the freshly hired hands, and he smiles.Today, we study why Jesus is like the Father.PS: You can follow me on Twitter below so you can stay updated on any new episodes I release. One does not need to look further than their own experience to realize that the best things in life come when one decides to risk it all and go all out. One only needs to take a leap of faith, brace for the storm and look forward to the rainbows and sunshine on the other side. But risk solely is not sufficient. One needs to be honest with themselves and be aware of their flaws. Otherwise, one step forward might result in two steps backward. Let us consider Peter in Matthew 4:13–22 and Luke 5:1-11.
