Everyone should read this book! The White Pill: A Tale of Good and Evil https://amzn.eu/d/flNGtRS There have always been gaps in my knowledge of history particularly the events that took place in the 20th century inside the Soviet Union. I was never taught about this in school, sure everyone is aware of the atrocities of world war 2 and the Holocaust. Have you ever heard of the Holodomor? This book really affected me, some of the events took place with in my lifetime. I'm embarrassed to say that despite remembering the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, I had no idea why it was even put up. Michael Malice writes a wonderful, barbaric, beautiful, tragic account of the events that took place under Lenin, Stalin and how Gorbachev was really the hero when it came to the fall of the Iron curtain. An amazing book.
