Demi making her first appearance on a podcast was so kind to join me and talk about many aspects of her personal life. I was joined by Tony O’Neill, The main man behind Scotland’s rising clothing brand, Animalia Apparel. Tony shared some stories and anecdotes about his early life in Glasgow, the shift to volunteering at camps in the states,how Animalia went from being a small idea to an example of living, the community agenda at the heart of the brand, and the exciting ventures to come in the future.

It was a great chance to learn about the thought process of those who have a desire to learn & explore abandoned buildings. Mike Fletcher is an ex pro wrestler who had a promising career in the wrestling industry cut short by a freak injury that resulted in a broken neck. The premature retirement from wrestling left Mike experiencing bouts with depression and uncertainty into what the best way forward would be. Fast forward a decade, Mike has been making waves in the indie clothing world, designing products for his own brand, Hardkore Inc. The clothing combines casual clothing with positive messages on the brand and designs, a move which aims to give back to the mental health community that helped him in during a tasking time. Rowetta is a singer/songwriter who hails from Manchester, her career has spanned several decades as both a solo performer and prominent member of the UK Rave/Indie band, Happy Mondays. Her accolades and reputation have her dubbed as the First Lady of Manchester a title that could not be argued. Rowetta joined me on the show to talk some about her music career thus far, touching on her life pre-Mondays and accounts of being at the heart of the Early 90s Madchester scene in The Happy Mondays. A musician through and through she still collaborates with the likes of Paul Weller, Peter Hook & The Light and brings us insight into the life of a musician during the covid era.
