Welcome back, to Dark Realms, Standing just steps from the White House, the Octagon House is one of Washington DC's most historic—and allegedly most haunted—landmarks. Built at the dawn of the United States and once used as a temporary presidential residence after the White House burned in 1814, this six-sided mansion has long been shadowed by darker legends. In this episode, we explore chilling accounts of phantom screams where two daughters reportedly fell to their deaths, the ghost of a murdered card player who eternally seeks help, and the most disturbing tale of all—a murdered enslaved girl said to cry from within the walls themselves. This episode asks whether the Octagon's hauntings are supernatural echoes… or the lingering weight of tragedies history never fully acknowledged.Stay safe,Kevin. We're giving a full weeks trial of our Patreon away! Dan Hooker returns to the Octagon for the first time in over a year. He's facing the much-favoured Arman Tsarukyan for a shot at a world title fight. UFC on Sky host Ravinder Hunia told Piney that Hooker is absolutely the underdog, but that's nothing new for Kiwi fighters. Hunia says he's the underdog for good reasons, as Tsarukyan is on a seven fight win streak, three of them grappling competitions, but Hooker loves to come in and disappoint these wrestlers. A shareholder vote to approve a takeover bid for Comvita has not gathered enough votes to proceed. The bid from Florence to buy Comvita at 80 cents a share required 75% support from shareholders to go through. Although the official vote count has not been released, we know that the numbers fall short of the margin. Octagon Chief Investment Officer Paul Robertshawe told Heather duPlessis-Allan that anything is possible going forward, however it's unlikely that Florence will raise their offer. On this episode of Best of the Bus, The Boys sat down with the boy, Michael Chandler, after his WILD fight against Charles Oliveira. Since the fight was only two days earlier, Mike’s body wasn’t feeling the best. He started off the pod by listing out all the things that hurt. This was Mike’s first time back in the Octagon in over two years, so he dove into what it felt like to return and all the emotions he went through. The Boys then broke down each round of the fight, and Mike pointed out some things he wished he would’ve done differently. Overall, if you watched the fight, you knew how absolutely electric it was, and being able to hear it firsthand from Mike was pretty cool. Hope y’all enjoy.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
