As we continue this year's brain health series, I sit down and talk with my beautiful friend Danielle. She shares her story of how living in a home with verbal and psychological abuse from her mom, she had been depressed since around the age of nine. Things escalated with self harm and suicidal thoughts at the age of fifteen. In one of her weakest moments she heard God speak to her. Her story of healing now has her waking up everyday with joy.
